It spreads well on the face, effectively removes makeup, and rinses off easily with water. The lid is incredibly difficult to open! It's so frustrating trying to get it off. Closing it is also a challenge as it doesn't align properly. That's disappointing.

I love that it comes with an inner lid and spatula in addition to the outer lid, so I don't have to scoop it out with my fingers. I bought this because it was said to be non-oily, but being a cleanser, it's slightly rich. First off, the scent is lovely and the packaging is aesthetically pleasing. The cleansing effectiveness is on par with other balm-type cleansers. While it felt quite rich when rolling it on my face, it didn't trigger any blemishes. I haven't experienced any itching or skin irritation from using it. Although it seemed less effective at removing sebum compared to oil-type cleansers during the rolling process, it's not ineffective. After a good massage and rinse, the bumpy areas on my nose become noticeably smoother. The price is a tad high... When I need to repurchase after finishing this one, I'll probably buy it duty-free.

I switched from oils to balms because I found the emulsification process messy. Soul's cleansing balm transforms into a super soft sherbet-like texture on the skin without any irritation. I was surprised by how solid it was when I first scooped it out. The hygienic scoop it comes with makes storage really convenient. 2. Warming sensation This was the most unique aspect of using it. Despite the warming sensation, it didn't feel irritating at all. In fact, the gradual heating effect made it easier to cleanse away impurities! This feature would be especially beneficial in fall and winter. 3. Inner Glow I typically follow up with a low pH cleansing foam for my second cleanse.
