There's nothing better for a foundation-free look. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and it brightens my complexion beautifully.

The SPF protection and the fact that it can look quite heavy if you apply two layers.

I have dry skin, so dead skin cells appeared quickly. Also, the value for money isn't great.

It brightens the face and, well... it does its job. I'm not entirely sure how to explain it.

Even after applying toner, essence, and moisturizer, it's still so drying that I experience pilling around my eyes, hairline, and chin. For those with dry skin like me, mixing it 1:1 with a richer cream or serum can prevent pilling. However, once applied, it still feels quite drying, as if it's setting on the skin.

1. I thought it was a physical sunscreen since it's a brightening moisturizer, but I discovered it's actually a chemical sunscreen. It contains ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, a common ingredient in chemical sunscreens known to cause eye irritation. Fortunately, I didn't experience any stinging in my eyes.

2. It's extremely, extremely drying... ugh.

It tends to pill, so you need to pat it in thoroughly. It can also cause some eye irritation.

I use this a lot when I don't want to wear makeup but feel shy about going bare-faced. It really makes a noticeable difference in my complexion when applied before makeup.

If you apply too much moisturizer in your base routine, it can lead to pilling and oiliness. It's best to approach your skincare as if you're applying a light hydrating emulsion to create a good foundation.

I've had great experiences with Nine Wishes color-correcting products before, so I tried this one with high hopes. Unfortunately, it applies unevenly and for those with oily skin, it can lead to excess shine over time. I wouldn't recommend it.

When applying a brightening moisturizer, it often accentuates dead skin cells and turns your skin ashy rather than bright. However, this product is so hydrating that it doesn't highlight flakes and evens out your complexion naturally. It's even suitable for men to use.

It's not particularly hydrating and feels a bit rich for my taste. Personally, I was hoping for a product that absorbs well and provides deep hydration.

If you're looking for a brightening moisturizer that gives a natural finish, I highly recommend this. I bought it after getting quite tanned in the summer, and I love how it's not sticky and naturally evens out my complexion.
