As someone with a cool summer complexion who prefers light makeup, I find this looks very natural. The color payoff is quite weak, so it's best to apply about three layers for better results. - yu*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 11, 2025
It's really great for wearing with a bare face.. It doesn't look obvious but makes your eyes appear bigger and brighter. It's also perfect for creating aegyo-sal or enhancing eye makeup, even when you're not going for a natural look. However, it tends to flake off easily, clumping together as it comes off. You can reapply it, so it's not a huge issue, but it can be a bit inconvenient and bothersome. - he******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 23, 2025
Skin type - Oily, light undertone Purpose: I used this to create a shadow for my aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness) and extend my double eyelids. You can see how I applied it in the photo. Pigmentation: It's a bit lighter than I expected. I have a fair 21 skin tone and prefer light makeup, so I intentionally bought the 20% shade. However, I think the 30% shade would have been fine too. Longevity: The staying power isn't bad. While it doesn't last incredibly long, if you use a setting spray and apply powder around the eye area, it seems to stay on for quite a while. I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the brush pen bristles sometimes split. It doesn't maintain its initial condition consistently. I've been using it for less than three months, and I only do my makeup once or twice a week at most (used less than 20 times). Now, compared to its initial pigmentation, it doesn't show up as well. I'm not sure if it's because it ran out quickly or if I stored it improperly, but it's become too light now. For those who prefer dramatic makeup or have a complexion darker than shade 21, it might be better to purchase the 30% shade. - sa*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 20, 2025
It's so light and natural, perfect for students who want a subtle makeup look! There's nothing bad to say... It's really great, honestly! - ki********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 15, 2025
This product is absolutely amazing! The staying power is pretty good too. It's great value for money. When I use it to add some shadow to my aegyo sal (under-eye fat) and draw a line, it looks natural and beautifully lifted. After applying, my eyes look bigger! It's fantastic! Since it's a light color, unless you press hard while applying, it doesn't come out too dark and draws on naturally. I definitely plan to repurchase when I run out! Hmm... I can't really think of any downsides. It was really excellent. - me**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 11, 2025
If you're on the fence, just go ahead and buy it! I'm on my third one, and it's versatile enough for any situation. Perfect for drawing lip corners, extending double eyelid lines (if you have them), as an eyeliner guide, creating outer and inner corner accents, aegyo sal, and even for shading small scars (though hopefully you won't need that). If your wallet allows, don't just stick with the 20% shade - grab the 30% too, and if you love a bolder look, even the 70%. It's truly an all-purpose tool. Most pencils like this cost over $10, but this one's a steal. I don't wear makeup daily, so it lasts me ages - great value for money. The photo makes it look lighter than it actually is; it's more pigmented in real life. The only downside: be careful when closing the cap. I carelessly closed one and the brush tip got all split and crushed, so I had to toss it. - re*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 11, 2025
It applies smoothly and naturally, perfect for everyday use! Personally, I find the staying power to be a bit disappointing. - qt******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 8, 2025
My eye area is extremely dry, and every time I used to draw my aegyo-sal (under-eye puff) with a regular liner, it would crease and flake. But since switching to this brush pen liner, there's no creasing at all, and my eye makeup looks so much cleaner and more polished! Occasionally, the ink flow can be a bit light, making it hard to see the line. But honestly, it's not enough of an issue to really bother me. - js******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2025
Smooth and moisturizing application - glides on effortlessly for a natural look. Excellent adherence - stays put without smudging for long-lasting wear. Perfect for aegyo-sal (under-eye aegyo) shading - creates a subtle, natural-looking shadow Sets a bit quickly - need to blend swiftly for a natural finish. May disappoint if you're looking for very light colors - great for natural shading, but slightly sheer for those expecting bold pigmentation Can also be used for nose contouring, not just aegyo-sal shading. Blend with fingers or a brush before it sets for a more natural look. Gently filling in the lower lash line enhances eye definition. Overall verdict: Perfect for creating subtle, natural-looking shadows! Highly recommended for aegyo-sal shading due to its moisturizing application and great adherence
