  I find it applies smoothly and absorbs well. It's not irritating to my skin and doesn't cause any blemishes, so I comfortably apply it following the instructions before going to sleep.

  The instructions mention applying sunscreen the next day after using this product. Sometimes I forget to apply sunscreen, but I try my best to remember. The only downside is that it's one more step added to my skincare routine.

  After using COSRX Retinol 0.1, I decided to try the 0.5 version. Unlike the 0.1, this product has an oil-based formula, which absorbs well and doesn't feel irritating at all.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's actually effective for my skin. When I used the 0.1 version, I noticed my complexion looked brighter the next day, which encouraged me to use it consistently. However, with this product, I don't really see that kind of improvement.

  Tip

  I recommend applying this retinol and then layering a regenerating cream on top as part of your skincare routine!

  It absorbs really well and doesn't cause any blemishes. I switched from Innisfree's retinol, so my skin might have already adapted.

  Cons

  It has no viscosity, so it runs immediately after coming out of the dropper. Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant - it smells somewhat chemical.
