After using this, my skin texture and glow truly transform. It's like I've seen the light! My pores used to be very noticeable and my combination skin had an imbalanced, rough texture. But after using this, it's like everything has been smoothed out. There's nothing bad to say! I have a feeling I'll be using this for a long time, and when I run out, I'll definitely be buying it again. This product is really potent, so you must either mix it with another moisturizer or use it only once a week. I learned this the hard way. I unknowingly used it for three consecutive days and... well, let's just say it wasn't pleasant. My face started peeling, became dry, and itchy. I knew retinol was effective, but it's crucial to understand the proper usage method before applying. - ki****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 7, 2025
It applies lightly and doesn't feel greasy It goes on smoothly without irritating the skin It doesn't cause any blemishes to appear The next day after application, my skin feels slightly more supple Compared to other products, it causes less irritation It has less oiliness, which is nice It works well when used together with ceramides and niacinamide - je**********Dry SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2025
I've only just started using it, but I'm hoping to see good results as my skin adapts to it! It's hard to say at this point. I only received the delivery today, so it's too early to tell. While it's exciting to try new skincare products, it often takes time to see their full effects. Keep using it consistently and pay attention to how your skin responds over the next few weeks. Remember, everyone's skin is different, so what works for others might not work the same for you. Be patient and observe any changes in your complexion or how your skin feels. - du******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 3, 2025
Skin Type I have super dry skin that's prone to deep dryness, so my complexion often feels parched and dehydrated quickly. Texture and Application The lightweight formula makes it easy to apply. When you put it on, it doesn't have that heavy, sticky feeling typical of oils. Instead, it leaves your skin feeling fresh. Scent While not completely fragrance-free, the scent is very subtle. It doesn't smell like typical cosmetics, but rather has a mild medicinal scent that most people won't find off-putting. Product Review After using this product, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's dryness. Unlike other oils, it's not sticky and absorbs well, yet the hydration lasts for a long time. If you're looking for a lightweight retinol oil, I highly recommend this one. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's the scent. But it's not strong enough to be a real issue, so I wouldn't call it a drawback. Instead of applying a drop or two with your fingertips, it's easier to mix it with your moisturizer and apply it that way! - so*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 18, 2025
The serum seems to be good for dry and blemished skin. There are no skin troubles, and my skin feels comfortable. The oil has a fragrant aroma, and since it has been refrigerated, it is slightly chilled and somewhat opaque. - by******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedApr 18, 2025
There are many retinol creams out there, but I've never seen an oil like this one before. That uniqueness is why I bought it. And did it work? Yes, it did. Especially recommended for dry skin types. Let me break down my skin profile: I have sensitive, dry skin (congenital atopic dermatitis). I'm extremely reactive to ingredients - if something doesn't agree with me, inflammation appears within 30 minutes. I can't even use many 'natural' ingredients. My skin is prone to clogged pores, and despite being dry, I have to use toners for dry skin but emulsions for oily skin. I also have chronic anemia, so my skin takes longer to heal. Interestingly, vitamin C and niacin tend to darken my skin rather than brighten it. Given all these factors, it's very difficult for my skin to improve, and I'm extremely cautious with new ingredients. That's why I'm quite critical in my product evaluations. Now, about this retinol oil - I used it from November 20, 2024, to April 15, 2025, applying one drop mixed with moisturizer every other night on my left arm only. The oil is very light, spreads easily, and gives a nice glow. It absorbs within a minute, leaving softness without oiliness. I experienced no irritation at all. There's a floral scent that lingers for a while. While the results weren't dramatically visible due to my slow-healing skin, I did notice some improvement in skin tone and evenness. Generally, retinol creams are recommended to be used in tiny amounts, mixed with moisturizer. For this oil, the recommended amount is just one drop for the entire face. While it's possible to spread one drop, it's best mixed with an emulsion for even application. It's crucial to use sunscreen daily when using retinol. If you're not diligent with sunscreen, it's better to avoid retinol altogether. Without proper sun protection, retinol can lead to darker skin and more visible pigmentation. Remember to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, even if it claims long-lasting protection. The 3-month shelf life means the 20ml bottle is quite large - you might not even use 10ml before it expires. Using just 1-3 drops, this volume seems excessive. The strong fragrance is another downside. Due to the large volume and strong scent, I've given it 4 stars instead of 5. Extremely important: The product has a 3-month use-by period. Using oxidized oil can darken your skin, so discard it boldly even if there's a lot left. I learned about this while writing the review and will be discarding mine too! How to dispose of cosmetics properly: Pour the liquid onto newspaper. After a day, when the paper is dry, you can throw it in the regular trash. Cosmetics contain chemicals, so don't pour them down the drain to avoid water pollution. Letting them evaporate this way is better for the environment. - mk********Oily SkinAcne SkinApr 17, 2025
Despite having oily skin, I didn't feel like it was too heavy at all I bought this because COSRX's retinol cream worked well for me, but even though I usually don't react to oils, this made my skin break out. The effectiveness was also not great... - wo*********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I've been applying this in the evenings and I'm really enjoying it. It absorbs well and has almost no scent, which I love. I'm satisfied that it doesn't feel sticky after application. As for its effectiveness, I'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. - sw****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
It's not as heavy as I expected, and it's great when mixed with my moisturizer. The only downside is that it needs to be refrigerated, which is a bit of a hassle. Other than that, no complaints. - el****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 2, 2025
I bought this oil to apply on my body. I thought mixing it with my body emulsion would make my skin feel softer. I'll need to use it a bit longer to really tell the effects. Apart from the high price, I don't have any particular complaints. That's why I'm planning to stock up during sales.
