1. Color The half-dried rose shade is perfect for a deep undertone lip. While highly saturated, it's not overly bright, making it ideal for creating a sophisticated autumn look. However, if applied thinly with light dabs, it can be versatile enough for daily wear across all seasons. 2. Texture As a high-density matte lipstick, you can control the intensity - apply it bold or sheer depending on how much pressure you use. There's minimal staining, so layering it over a lip tint can enhance its longevity. The lipstick itself has a firm texture, making it easy to glide on smoothly. 3. Packaging The square, chunky design offers a comfortable grip, and the logo doesn't chip even if you roll it around. The tube color matches the product inside, making it easy to identify different shades. While the minimal staining might be seen as a drawback for a lipstick, it's pretty standard across the board, so it's hard to call it a real con. I have dry lips, so I always feel a bit of dryness no matter what I use - I always apply lip balm first. On the plus side, it doesn't pill, which is great! I've used up an entire tube without finding any real drawbacks or getting bored of the color. - 01**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 6, 2025
For a matte lipstick, it applies incredibly smoothly. The shade I use is perfect as an accent lip color. I'm using 221 Mellow Flower, and it's a gorgeous deep dried rose color. The hue is truly beautiful. To be honest, the only downside, which is typical for matte lipsticks, is that it can clump and settle into lip lines a bit. If you're planning to use it, I'd recommend using a lip mask to remove all dead skin cells from your lips before application. - a0**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedDec 28, 2024
I'm not sure if I'm a warm or cool tone, but I'm really loving this! I was a bit scared to use matte lipsticks because my lips tend to be dry, but this one works great for me! I'll leave a little tip in the additional comments section! If your lips are extremely dry or have a lot of dead skin cells, you might find this a bit challenging to use. Before bed, apply a generous amount of petroleum jelly (the plain yellow kind) to your lips. The next morning, gently wipe it off with a toner pad or mild wet wipe. This helps remove dead skin cells effectively! Then apply lip balm, do your makeup, and finish with the matte lipstick. Even those with dry lips can rock matte lipsticks this way! - dm*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2024
I absolutely adore this product! I've gone through over ten tubes because it's just that amazing. It's incredibly soft and the color is absolutely gorgeous. There's honestly nothing to complain about. If anything, I'm just sad that I've used so much of it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 25, 2024
The color is absolutely gorgeous. Even for those with a deep undertone, it looks beautifully subtle when applied in a thin layer. True to its name, it's very matte. Seems like it would be particularly useful in winter. - lu*********Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 1, 2024
Perfect for daily wear! Apply it lightly for a fresh, innocent look, or layer it on for a bold statement. Highly recommended for those with deep undertones. Nothing major, but on days when your lips are dry, it might accentuate dead skin cells a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRednessRecommendedNov 11, 2023
I used this a lot when I wanted to create an autumn vibe. The color payoff is good and it's quite wearable. While I can't say I was ever blown away by it, I also can't recall ever disliking it, so I'd recommend giving it a try. It made my lips feel like they were drying out quickly. It seemed to really emphasize dead skin cells on my lips. - dk********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2023
This matte lipstick doesn't cause any dead skin cells to flake off. It's such a beautiful rose color that it suits both cool and warm skin tones effortlessly. Ever since I started using this lipstick, I haven't been able to use any other. I wish I could point out some drawbacks, but there truly aren't any. The color, pigmentation, and texture are all excellent. If you apply a water gloss over this, you can create a luminous lip look.
