There is a minty aroma that feels like it stings right after application, but it fades naturally within 3 seconds. This is an aromatic fragrance led by sage, and there is no incense/spicy note that would typically accompany it, making it feel more unique. The base is strongly dominated by ambroxan, so those who dislike musk/ambroxan should avoid this.
Cons
As with all ambroxan-based fragrances, it's best to wait 3-4 hours after application before deciding whether to purchase. The longevity doesn't feel as good as the scent profile. It's about average for Byredo.
Tip
This fragrance may not suit extremely cold or hot weather, but it's a good choice for rainy days. It's suitable for all genders and ages.

The perfumer has deeply contemplated life and death, not so much mourning death as the loss associated with it. The perfume is created with the meaning of blessing life and remembering and cherishing death, like the Mexican 'Day of the Dead' festival. That's why this fragrance has woody, Chantal-like notes. If Le Labo Chantal 33 has a strong woody aroma, then Aesop Tacit has a spicy kick... This fragrance manages to capture the texture of wood while also evoking the scent of cacti blooming in the hot desert. It is not overpowering, however. (It does not have an extremely pungent, woody kick.) Death is represented as the process of returning to nature, and the refined woody and green notes symbolize this. Personally, I also sense a hint of sexiness in this fragrance. A sensual woody scent, almost like the Latin-looking 'sister' dancing in the Despacito music video... This seems like a great fragrance for the summer in particular.
Cons
It's not available. The price is quite expensive~ But I think the fragrance is worth the price.
