Alternating between these methods proved even more effective. My skin feels hydrated and has a glow. When my face was irritated in summer, using it as a mask also had a soothing effect. The pack's scent isn't artificial; rather, it has bakuchiol's unique natural fragrance. I applied it without any aversion, though it had a slightly chemical scent. Surprisingly, even after about 3 hours of application with the included spatula, my skin didn't feel dry. However, it seemed like it would take several rinses to wash off completely! Bakuchiol benefits include: anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, whitening through MSH inhibition and tyrosinase inhibition, anti-acne properties (better than 2% salicylic acid), antibacterial effects inhibiting C. acnes, and regeneration (anti-wrinkle) through collagen formation and inhibition of collagen breakdown.
