  I've been using Pond's eye makeup remover, so when Olive Young had a sale, I decided to try their foam cleanser too. I was a bit worried since it was my first time using it, but I'm pleasantly surprised!   I quickly picked up Pond's at the supermarket. It lathered up well and did a decent job removing makeup and sunscreen. The cleansing effectiveness was pretty good.

  Usage period: One month Cleansing effectiveness: It's a true deep cleanse, just as described! My face feels squeaky clean. It's on the thinner side, but lathers well. I even use it separately on my back while showering, and I'm satisfied as it seems to reduce blemishes. I've tried it to remove foundation residue from my hands, and it seems to work well. Since it's not good to irritate the skin too much, I don't wear heavy makeup and mostly cleanse with foam cleansers. I've been using this without any particular skin issues. Scent: It has a slight herbal scent? Not unpleasant at all. Price: Large volume and affordable, so there's no burden in using it. You can buy 2 of these for just over 10,000 won on Gmarket.

  If you press too hard, a lot comes out, so you need to control the amount carefully. I think it would have been better if the opening was a bit smaller. Probably because of its strong cleansing power, there's a slight dryness after washing.

  There are many other types of cleansers for hydration, skin soothing, etc., so it would be good to choose one that suits your skin type.

  Here's my review after using it consistently for two weeks! First, my skin type is combination dehydrated, prone to blemishes, and super sensitive. If I use the wrong skincare product, I break out immediately. Even water can upset my skin! To start, I loved the scent - it's a subtle lemony fragrance. The cleansing effectiveness was also excellent. When I did my first cleanse after coming home with basic makeup and setting spray on, it removed everything without leaving any residue! The large size is great too, as I can use it generously. Regarding blemishes, I'm not sure yet. In the beginning, I was on my period, so I had a few breakouts. I didn't notice any fading of scars or disappearance of blemishes. I continued using it for about 9 days after my period ended, but I still haven't felt satisfied with its effect on blemishes.

  For some reason, I noticed one or two new blemishes popping up. I only changed my cleanser and kept my usual routine of toner-serum-cream, but I felt more dryness than usual. It's like my skin quickly became parched. If you're going to use this product, you might need to apply a more robust skincare routine afterwards.

  Make sure to rinse thoroughly as it can leave a slippery residue after cleansing!
