The texture is incredibly rich and creamy. It feels gentle both on my hands and face while cleansing, which I love. After rinsing, my skin doesn't just feel soft - it feels squeaky clean!
ConsWhile it effectively removes surface oils, it doesn't seem to deeply cleanse or remove sebum from within the pores.

However, since I have oily skin, using only low pH cleansers can lead to blackhead buildup around my nose and T-zone. That's why I rotate between two or three medium to medium-high cleansing effectiveness products for my skincare routine! While I've been a fan of Pond's lip remover, this was my first time trying their foam cleanser, so I tested it multiple times. The texture is like a soft cream! When you lather it with your hands, it creates a smooth, whipped cream-like foam. As you massage it on your face, the foam dissipates, giving a texture that's like a mix between a cleansing emulsion and foam. I'm not particularly fond of excessive or fluffy foam, so this was perfect for me! However, if you prefer foam makers or lots of lather, you might not love it as much. Regarding cleansing effectiveness, I use this product as my second cleanse after using a makeup remover and cleansing oil to remove color cosmetics. When I use a low pH cleanser after oil cleansing, I sometimes feel a slight oily residue. But with this product, my skin feels squeaky clean! While I can't objectively say how good the cleansing power is since I remove most of my makeup in the first cleanse, from what I can see and feel, it seems to have high cleansing effectiveness. I'd recommend this product to people who wear heavy makeup regularly and those who enjoy that super clean feeling after washing. It seems like a great value for the price, with a generous amount of product and no major drawbacks.
ConsMy skin tends to develop dead skin cells when I use products with very strong cleansing power. Personally, I found it a bit too drying for my whole face, which led to some flaking - that was disappointing. Also, I'm a bit concerned about some potentially problematic ingredients in the formula.
TipInstead of using it all over, I now use a low pH foam for my whole face and then double cleanse just my nose and T-zone with the Pond's product. This method seems to be working well - I've noticed fewer blackheads accumulating! If you find double cleansing tedious, you could try mixing your low pH cleanser with the Pond's in a 7:3 ratio for a balanced cleanse. Oh, and for those with oily body skin - I have oily skin on my neck, décolletage, and chest, so I use the Pond's cleanser separately on these areas. It leaves me feeling incredibly clean, almost like I've exfoliated!

The generous amount meant I could use it without worry, and it was perfect as a second cleanser when removing makeup.
ConsIt's disappointing that it contains pore-clogging ingredients. While I haven't experienced any issues yet, I'm a bit concerned. I usually have oily skin, but with the colder weather, some areas have become dry with dead skin cells flaking off. This might have worked well in summer, but now that my skin is drier, I only use it at night after coming home from being out. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin.
