It's incredibly moisturizing and exfoliates dead skin cells while being gentle. It's truly amazing! The price is a bit disappointing. Also, when the package arrived, the case was slightly damaged. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 21, 2023
I tried this toner because I've had good experiences with toners before. I'm using it well both as a mask and as an exfoliating toner. It's great for hydration and soothing. Really excellent! Since it doesn't tear easily, I'm cutting it with scissors when needed. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMar 22, 2023
As someone who always uses toner pads after cleansing, I consider two key factors: their ability to finish the cleansing process and provide hydration. This product seems to excel in both areas. It doesn't just focus on wiping away residue but also preps the skin for better absorption in the next steps, improving overall skin condition. Some toner pads are overly saturated with either toner or serum, causing the liquid to drip when applied to the skin, which can feel messy rather than refreshing. However, these pads perfectly absorb the solution without any excess dripping - it's just right. Despite this, they don't feel dry or rough when wiping the face. The pads are generously sized and adequately thick, allowing for comfortable application even down to the neck. They provide gentle exfoliation without irritation, and leave the skin feeling moisturized after use. In the peak of summer, these pads alone might be sufficient for my combination dehydrated skin (I typically only use hydrating pads in summer). I would definitely repurchase and recommend these. There aren't any downsides... the lack of cons is actually a con! If I had to nitpick, I'd say the absence of tweezers, but you can easily pick up the pads with your fingers. Given the current focus on reducing plastic waste, I actually prefer them without unnecessary extras. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2023
I loved the texture and formula that doesn't create lint! The slightly slippery texture makes it better as a hydrating pad rather than an exfoliating toner. I like to wipe my face with the embossed side, then leave it on while drying my hair. It definitely leaves my skin hydrated and helps my makeup apply smoothly. While I appreciate the large size of the pads, they're a bit thick, which slightly reduces their adherence to the skin. That's the only minor drawback I can think of. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2023
I loved the Swimming Pool Toner so much that I didn't hesitate to buy the pads too. I had high expectations since I enjoyed the toner, and I'm extremely satisfied. As an exfoliating toner, the pads are quite large, so I cut them in half to make them last longer. It's incredibly hydrating, and after just a few days of use, a friend asked why my skin looked so much better - I immediately recommended it to her! My skin texture has significantly improved, and I love how moisturized my skin feels. There's not much to criticize, but if I had to pick something, it's that the container is transparent, which might make it more susceptible to chemical reactions. But I'm sure they've designed it that way for a good reason. Cutting the pads in half is more than enough. I'm using them sparingly to make them last. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 31, 2022
First off, it's incredibly hydrating and the pads are large enough to cleanse your face, neck, and even the back of your hands. I'm writing this review after using it for over two weeks. It came with an essence, which can feel sticky if you apply too much at once. For better absorption and to avoid stickiness, it's best to layer small amounts multiple times. However, the pads felt a bit rougher than expected, which might be irritating for the skin. You need to use them very gently, almost as if you're just gliding them across your face. For best results, I recommend using the smooth side twice and the embossed side once, for a total of three gentle wipes. This keeps the skin hydrated for longer! Follow up with the ampoule, and you've got a simple yet effective skincare routine. Just these two products, and you're done! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2022
The pads are thick and soft, causing no irritation. Using these toner pads alone leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Being a pad-type product, it might be too harsh for daily use on sensitive skin. If you have super sensitive skin, avoid using it daily. The pads are large and provide good hydration, making them great for body use as well. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 20, 2022
True to its name 'Swimming Pool Toner Pads', these pads are generously soaked in hydration. The mesh texture is great for managing blemishes and dead skin cells, and it seems to help with pores too, giving a sense of smoother skin texture. The pads are thick and full of moisture, absorbing well into the skin. As expected from Equalberry, known for their Swimming Pool Toner and Cream, these pads provide ample hydration. The eco-friendly material is a plus, and the large quantity in the package makes it a good value! While they work well for exfoliation and cleansing, they're a bit disappointing when used as a hydrating mask. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 9, 2022
Pros: - Great for lightly hydrating the skin. When applied like a mask and removed, it feels like a lightweight essence has been applied. Almost no oiliness. - Absorbs well, and once fully absorbed, the skin feels firm and supple. There's a slight residual feeling on the skin, but as mentioned, it's like the moisturizing and firming sensation after applying an essence. - Gentle and hydration-focused, so it should be suitable for most skin types. - The pads are generously sized. Cons: - While it seems to remove dead skin cells, it's hard to tell when just used as a mask. As an exfoliating toner, it only provides mild exfoliation. This product alone isn't enough for thorough exfoliation if you have a lot of dead skin buildup. - Although the pads are large, they're not exceptionally soft. Even for non-sensitive skin, they can feel a bit rough when used as an exfoliating toner. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2022
My first impression was the impressive big-sized pad that fully covered the back of my hand. No need for two or three sheets - one is more than enough. I have dry, sensitive skin, so I usually do the 7-skin method with hydrating toners. I thought, 'How moisturizing could these toner pads really be?' But I was genuinely surprised. It's as hydrating as the 7-skin method. Right after use, I felt a moisturizing, soft sensation as if I'd applied a hyaluronic acid ampoule. The 'Swimming Pool' name truly lives up to its hydrating power. I have to give it credit. Looking at the ingredients, I noticed it combines 8 types of high-medium-low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (for hydration), Centella Asiatica complex (for soothing), and galactoarabinan (for exfoliation). It covers everything from hydration to soothing and skin texture improvement. I felt this product, being full of hydration and non-irritating, would be great for anyone regardless of skin type - dry, sensitive, combination, or oily. Not only am I satisfied with the product itself, but I'm also impressed by the brand's commitment to the environment and equality. They have Vegan Society certification, use 100% recycled containers and eco-friendly packaging, include Korean/English braille on packages, and promote genderless skincare. Even the name 'Equal' Berry shows their values. I'm extremely impressed! To sum up the key features of Equal Berry Vegan Big Embossed Swimming Pool Toner Pads: ✔️ Exceptional hydration ✔️ Soothes and exfoliates ✔️ Big-sized pads ✔️ Suitable for all skin types, genders, and ages! I didn't find any downsides. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the lid height is unnecessarily tall, making the container size quite large. They mentioned removing the plastic tweezers for environmental reasons, so wouldn't it be even better to reduce the container size for the same reason?
