  Pros

  I bought the Ectoin Cica Essence Toner because I heard it was great for hydration and soothing. However, I couldn't really notice either effect. As it's a toner, it's not sticky, but personally, the scent was... well, quite bothersome. It had an unpleasant fragrance that made me reluctant to apply it. I stopped using it as it seemed to cause a few blemishes.

  Cons

  It seems to cause a few small bumps, and I wouldn't recommend it mainly because the scent is really strange. I had to wash my hands after applying it.

  Tip

  It's a shame because it seems to have many good ingredients. Those who respond well to centella asiatica might want to take a closer look at this product.

  Pros

  The biggest advantage of this product seems to be its balance. I used it as a 2-skin, 3-skin method, and even though it's a slightly thin liquid, it didn't feel sticky when layered multiple times. It felt like it perfectly balanced the oil and moisture in my skin. I've been using it from spring until this morning, and I've never had any blemishes with this product. It also paired well with other products. Given my age, I like using functional products, and I've been consistently using this followed by vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night without any irritation. Perhaps it's because it doesn't contain exfoliating ingredients but has soothing cica, and its pH is 5.5! I read somewhere that slightly acidic skin is good before using vitamin C, and this product is perfect for that! I'll definitely repurchase it, and I hope more people discover it. Please don't discontinue it. Oh, and for reference, my sister with normal skin used it too, and when she's lazy, she just applies this alone. She says it's not drying (I'm envious). Also, it's fragrance-free. It has a white toner texture that feels like watered-down milk.

  There are no downsides. I've been buying it through the Sidmool app for years, so maybe just the product accessibility is a bit limited?

  I used it before applying functional products and it worked well. Still, everyone should check the ingredients and aim for that glowing skin!

  Pros

  This toner is perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. I have severe deep dryness with oily surface, but this product addresses the inner dryness without being sticky and leaves a fresh finish. Since using it, the itchiness caused by dryness has significantly reduced. It's the best toner I've used so far. As expected, Sidmool is a brand I trust and love!

  Cons

  I can't find any downsides to the Sidmool brand. I use many of their products, and they're not overly expensive. My skin is super sensitive, prone to blemishes or redness if something doesn't suit it. So I'm very careful about ingredients, but Sidmool products are gentle and work perfectly for my skin. Of course, it might not suit everyone. I use Sidmool for face, body, and cleansing. This toner is my absolute favorite. Sidmool is a brand I adore and will stick with for life.

  If I had to pick something, I'd say it's not sticky and leaves a fresh finish.

  Cons

  I had high hopes because of the cica and ectoin, but I don't notice any soothing effect at all. Looking at it, you'd think it would provide amazing hydration and solve deep dryness, but it doesn't seem to do either. No matter how much I layer, it doesn't moisturize. Those with oily skin might want to give it a try, but for those with dry skin, it's probably not worth it.
