It's a shame because it seems to have many good ingredients. Those who respond well to centella asiatica might want to take a closer look at this product.

It seems to cause a few small bumps, and I wouldn't recommend it mainly because the scent is really strange. I had to wash my hands after applying it.

I bought the Ectoin Cica Essence Toner because I heard it was great for hydration and soothing. However, I couldn't really notice either effect. As it's a toner, it's not sticky, but personally, the scent was... well, quite bothersome. It had an unpleasant fragrance that made me reluctant to apply it. I stopped using it as it seemed to cause a few blemishes.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled that this toner didn't cause any blemishes! It's gentle yet effective at eliminating deep dryness after showering, making it a great product. It absorbs well without leaving an oily residue, giving a fresh feeling that makes me reach for it often. Since it's fragrance-free, even those sensitive to scents can use it comfortably. I thought the amount would be small, but it's surprisingly generous for both morning and evening use.

None. I've been purchasing it through the Sidmool app for a few years, but the product accessibility is a bit lacking.

The biggest advantage of this product seems to be its balance. 
I used it as a 2-skin and 3-skin, and even though I layered the slightly watery liquid multiple times, there was no sticky feeling, and it felt like the moisture-oil balance was just right.
I've been using it since spring until this morning, and I've never had any trouble with it, and it also worked well with other products.
Since I'm getting older, I like using functional products, and in the morning I used this product followed by vitamin C, and at night I used this product followed by retinol, and there was no irritation at all.
It seems that there are no exfoliating ingredients, but there are soothing cica ingredients, and since it has a pH of 5.5, that might be why. 
I read somewhere that it's good to have slightly acidic skin before using vitamin C, and this product was perfect for that!
I will definitely repurchase it, and I hope more people get to know about it. I hope it never gets discontinued.
Oh, and by the way, I used it with my neutral-skinned sister, and she just used this one product when she was feeling lazy, and she said it didn't dry her out. (I'm jealous.)

The finish wasn't quite as nice as the Clinique one. I think it's because this one is a bit more watery... And as a toner, it just feels moisturizing, not incredibly nourishing or anything. It's just kind of average? (But the Clinique one is about the same.) Don't expect too much essence-like functionality from this - you'll want to use a separate ampoule.

I used to use the thick, viscous pink essence toner from Clinique, but it was expensive, so I tried to find a substitute. It's a bit thinner than I expected, but it's very moisturizing, just as an essence toner should be. It reminds me of the old milky skin toner from my mom's vanity.

As it's a relatively new release from Sidmool, I tried it out with a mix of anticipation and curiosity. Since my skin is sensitive, I usually react right away if a product doesn't suit me, but this one was very comfortable and agreeable for my skin.
My skin tends to get quite dehydrated, but this toner-like essence was able to provide a good level of hydration as the first step. It absorbs quickly, so it's also great to use before applying makeup.
