The color is like dried rose petals. For that luxurious, plump, and clear glow reminiscent of tanghulu, this product is the best. It has a lip plumping effect, so after about 2 seconds, you'll feel a cool, tingling sensation on your lips. The formula is quite soft, so when you twist the bottom of the container, it clicks as it turns and dispenses the product. It doesn't retract, though, so you need to use up whatever amount you've twisted up. That's why it's important to twist up just a tiny bit at a time. I'm blown away! Unlike other lip products with questionable ingredients that trigger severe cheilitis, this one's different. It gives a glass-like glow, beautiful color, has great ingredients, and feels comfortable on the lips. The Hwahae Testers would approve! I'm in love with Hourglass! I received this as a gift and it's perfect for my deep undertone. The color is beautifully muted and it absorbs really well. The subtle rose color was perfect for daily wear, and I loved how the shimmering glow lasted for a long time. Due to its formula, some transfer is inevitable, but the glossy finish seemed to last longer than moisturizing tints. At first, I thought the yellow-gold case looked a bit dated, but when compared to similar melting balms, it actually gave off a luxurious vibe. As a product without any staining effect, when applied to the lips, the color gradually faded over time, leaving only a whitish cast that made my complexion look unhealthy. In summer, the formula melted too easily, making it difficult to control the amount applied, and it sometimes transferred to my teeth. While the shimmering glow was pretty, it was annoying when hair kept sticking to my lips on windy days. The short wear time also made it disappointing in terms of user experience. The plumping effect initially made my lips look fuller, which was nice, but the burning sensation lasted for about an hour, which was bothersome. The lip color varies significantly from person to person. It's soft and creamy in texture. Since you control how much product comes out, it can be hard to manage if you accidentally dispense too much. I think you can use it well if you adjust the amount as needed. This lip product is perfect for those with deep undertones! Apply a thin layer of a tinting lip product, then top it with the Hourglass Glossy Balm for an incredibly delicate and beautiful color. It's truly stunning! During winter when my lips get dry, I often reach for glossy lip products, and this one is always my go-to. Since it's a melting lip product, it's sensitive to temperature. If you keep it near a heat pack or in a warm place, it can melt and become difficult to apply. Apart from the melting issue, I loved everything about it!

The ingredients are good, and it contains plumping components. In summer, when you pat it on, it gives a cool feeling for a few minutes and covers lip wrinkles nicely. Among lip products of this type, it doesn't feel heavy or build up, which is great. It has a clear finish, and since it doesn't stain, the color might be slightly weak on bare lips after makeup, but if you clean it off thoroughly and reapply, there's no patchiness or change in color. What I mentioned as advantages can also be drawbacks: it comes off easily, the lack of staining means your natural lip color shows through, and it's expensive! I found it works well to apply a light base like Hera Matte Lip first, then layer the Hourglass on top. It really plumps up my lips, making them moist, bouncy, and slightly glossy. I've been using only this lip product lately. I love how it gives a perfect, pretty glow without feeling sticky. Just dab it on once and you're good to go! It's quite pricey, to be honest. Once you twist it up, you can't retract it, and it melts onto your lips as soon as it touches them. You have to be really careful when applying because you'll use up as much as you've twisted out.
