The color that made me impulsively buy the 4-color set is a woody brown with a hint of red brick, which has a deep brown tone. While I described it as deep, and it is the deepest color among the 4 colors I purchased, it is not as dark as the brown on the official website. Rather, it has a reddish-brown tone, like a dried and faded maple leaf, giving the most autumnal feel among the lip colors. The formula was really fascinating. It's not quite a velvet formula, nor is it a glowy formula - it's somewhere in between, with a velvety glow. When applied, it's moisturizing yet has a plush, cushiony feel. Over time, a light, non-greasy oil film comes to the surface. That film is not thick or heavy, but thin and lightweight. There's no stickiness, and it doesn't have a heavy, tacky feel even when blotted. The finish has a subtle sheen, not an overpowering glossy look, similar to other moisturizing velvet tints. The transfer is minimal, with some slight transfer only towards the inner lips. The longevity is also quite good. True to a moisturizing velvet tint, there's no dryness or shrinkage. It also feels lightweight, not heavy or suffocating. The scent is a light caramel popcorn, not too strong.
Cons
Since the colors I purchased weren't extremely deep or bold, the pigmentation isn't very strong, so there's no significant patchiness or unevenness. The transfer is minimal, so the longevity is decent when drinking beverages. But since the formula is moisturizing, it does transfer when eating food, and wipes off easily with a tissue. As the pigmentation isn't very strong, aside from the minimal transfer and the non-drying formula, it's pretty much the same as any other velvet tint. The color range is so pretty and perfect for the fall/winter season, though.
