Here's what I love about this one: Hydration: True to its purpose, this ampoule provides ample hydration for my combination dehydrated skin. During the tricky fall transition season, applying this and sealing it with a cream leaves my skin plump and dewy overnight, without waking up to that parched feeling. Gentle Formula: You might think all hydrating ampoules are gentle, but trust me, some aren't! This one, however, feels soothing on the skin with no irritation or tingling. Fragrance-Free: While I'm not usually picky about this, we've all encountered that odd, funky smell in some toners or ampoules, right? This one is completely odorless, making it suitable for everyone without any scent preferences getting in the way. I've only been using it for about a week, so I'll need more time to form a complete opinion. But so far, it seems like a fantastic product for replenishing moisture during the dry transitional seasons. If you're a hydrating ampoule enthusiast like me, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try!
ConsAs I mentioned earlier, I've just finished two bottles of the Tory@ hydrating ampoule, so I can't help but draw comparisons. Pilling: I expected a hydrating ampoule to absorb quickly into the skin, but this one tends to sit on top a bit. It feels slightly slippery - perhaps I'm using too much? Because of this, I'm hesitant to use it before applying makeup.

Both oil and moisture are lacking as the weather gets colder. * Experience - I've been using it for over a week. I applied 1-2 pumps after toner, morning and night. Due to the changing seasons, I had small blemishes on my forehead, but they've significantly reduced, possibly due to the well-balanced oil and moisture content. - At first, it seemed like it wasn't absorbing well, but after gently massaging and patting it in, it absorbs completely. After absorption, my skin feels firm. Also, I'm sensitive to artificial fragrances, so I appreciate that this product is unscented.
Cons- Right after application, my skin feels firm, but not long after, both the surface and deeper layers of my skin feel extremely dry, as if I hadn't applied anything at all.
Tip- Instead of continuously rubbing to absorb, it's more effective to massage briefly and then pat it in for quicker absorption. - Rather than applying a large amount of serum at once, it's better to layer it gradually. Follow immediately with a hydrating moisturizer to help the serum's hydration last longer.

Known as Vitamin B3, it's famous for its brightening effects. I used it religiously when it was all the rage. While it didn't magically turn my darker skin white, people started noticing a certain 'elegance' about me. My complexion became smoother with an Inner Glow - like my dark skin had a newfound radiance! It's like having a non-greasy, glossy 'peeled egg' look. Mind you, this doesn't happen overnight. With consistent use, you'll start hearing compliments like 'Your skin looks great!', 'Did something good happen?', 'You look so refined!', 'Did you get a facial?'. I'm actually writing this excitedly because someone just told me I look elegant! I apply a full dropper to each half of my face, so two droppers for the whole face. Since niacinamide products generally don't absorb well on their own, I follow up immediately with a moisturizer. This helps it blend and absorb better. You could mix them beforehand, but I find it a hassle. Applying cream right after this ampoule works wonders! You'll notice your skin becoming incredibly soft. If this ingredient suits you well, the effects will be truly maximized.
ConsThe downside is that it doesn't absorb well and feels like it's sitting on the skin. But I think this is characteristic of this ingredient, so it can't be helped. If you feel it absorbing too easily, you might want to question if there's enough of the active ingredient. However, it absorbs beautifully when applied with a cream or another essence.
TipSince it's a vitamin-based product, I only apply it at night. I'm a bit worried about sun exposure if I use it during the day. But if you slather it on generously at night, you're likely to wake up to skin compliments! If you look at the ingredient list in the photo below, you'll see that it contains quite a bit of niacinamide!

The auto-dropper is convenient and easy to use. I must say, it looks even more luxurious in person than I expected!
ConsIf you use a small amount, it absorbs too quickly and leaves a slightly dry feeling. On the other hand, if you apply a more generous amount, it feels slippery and doesn't seem to fully absorb. I wish it provided a more noticeable boost of hydration on the skin.
