In the past, I disliked any oiliness on my skin, so I kept my skincare routine minimal. However, over time, I've realized how crucial a proper oil and moisture balance is. In this regard, the Nature Republic Hyatenol Hydrangea Ampoule, which I received through The Hwahae Testers review event, has been beneficial for my skin. Sometimes, trying new cosmetics can cause my skin to react negatively, so I often repurchase skincare products from brands I trust. This product, however, is formulated for skin hydration without any concerning ingredients, making it incredibly gentle. As someone who primarily buys products for soothing purposes, this ampoule replenished my skin's moisture without any irritation, providing a comfortable user experience. I love the clean design and color scheme. The container's unique shape, different from other ampoule products, took a bit of getting used to initially, but I found it to be more hygienic than rubber-tipped droppers. The fragrance-free formula was perfect for me personally. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, allowing for seamless makeup application even on busy mornings without pilling. I appreciate that it's suitable for daily use, both morning and evening.
ConsWhile there weren't any specific drawbacks, if I had to mention something, the timing could have been better. As we're entering a suddenly colder transitional season, an ampoule focused solely on hydration might not provide enough moisture. Those with dry skin might need to layer it with a richer product. I apply it in the order of toner, ampoule, cream, sunscreen, makeup base, and foundation, which works fine for now. However, this is a product I'd reach for more in summer rather than fall or winter.

The formula absorbs quickly without any stickiness or residue. It feels 0% oily and 100% hydrating. Made with gentle ingredients, it causes no skin irritation and simply provides pure hydration. Recommended skin type: Great for sensitive, oily skin as a toner or first step in skincare routine! Not recommended for dry skin as it might be too light even in summer. For combination dehydrated skin, it's best used right after cleansing in summer. Those with very oily skin who hate stickiness might find it suitable even in winter.
ConsThe regular price seems a bit high due to the brightening ingredients, but I didn't notice any whitening effects during my short-term use. There are many similar hydrating serums in the $10 range, so this loses its appeal price-wise. Despite being advertised as a 'hydrating' serum, it's not very moisturizing. While it truly has zero oil and only provides hydration, which might be a big plus for some, it felt a bit dry even on my oily skin as the weather got cooler.
