This one really needs to be applied thinly in multiple layers using a spatula for better longevity. I'm serious! If it didn't work for you before, please try this method! The color doesn't seem like shade 24, it's more like 21-22. I use the Hero Cushion in shade 22, and this was a bit lighter. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinNov 8, 2024
Coverage - Even with a thin layer, it covers almost all redness. The photo shows just one light application after minimal skincare prep. Scent - It has a subtle, pleasant fragrance. Packaging - While fingerprints might make it look messy, there's something trendy about it. Color - I used the darkest shade, but it still looks a bit off on me... It appears slightly pale, so I'm not inclined to use it often. Maybe up to shade 22 would be okay? Dryness - Since I have combination dehydrated skin, it seems to emphasize dead skin cells more noticeably. I'll need to focus on proper skincare before applying. Apply thinly, prep skin well, and for areas with large pores, pat gently instead of rubbing to cover effectively. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2024
I bought the darkest shade because my complexion is on the deeper side. While it's a bit lighter than expected, it still works well! It applies thinly and evenly, and has great staying power. The shade is a bit lighter than I'd like, which is slightly disappointing, but it's not bad overall so I'm okay with it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 27, 2023
It applies thinly, so my skin didn't feel heavy. Despite the thin application, the coverage was quite good. When I smile, the cushion settles into the fine lines around my mouth... If you don't do thorough skincare beforehand, it tends to separate. When it breaks down, it really clings to pores and wrinkles. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2023
It applies thinly but surprisingly provides decent coverage. Since it doesn't go on thick, it's less likely to cause blemishes or irritation. Because it goes on so sheer, the coverage isn't exceptional. It's more suitable for a natural makeup look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 8, 2023
It has great coverage and applies thinly, making it perfect for everyday light wear Since my complexion is on the darker side, even shade 4 Ginger is a bit light for me - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 18, 2023
This cushion foundation works wonders if you've got a solid skincare base! It applies smoothly, creates a thin layer, and sets beautifully. I highly recommend it for its excellent absorption and long-lasting finish. However, if you pat it on too much or your skincare routine isn't quite right, the cushion can separate and break down, which isn't a pretty sight. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 9, 2023
The best thing about this cushion is how it applies. It has a watery, thin consistency that you can pat on with the puff. Compared to powdery, matte cushions, this one's application is so much better that I found myself reaching for it often. Most people should be satisfied with its staying power and coverage. The charm of this product lies in its thin application, so if you need heavier coverage, you might want to look at other cushions. Its resistance to breaking down throughout the day was decent - not bad, but there are better options out there. It's not a significant drawback though. I also loved the color. I always struggle with shade 21 being too light and 23 being a bit dark, but this cushion's color was just right. Think of it as a light 23 or maybe a 22. The color itself is pretty, leaning more yellow than red. As someone with yellow undertones, I was really pleased. Of course, color preference varies, so I'd recommend testing it out yourself. The longevity and coverage should satisfy most users. This product shines in its thin application, so those needing more coverage might prefer a different cushion. It held up okay throughout the day - not the best on the market, but certainly not a deal-breaker. Depending on the day, I experienced some itchiness. It wasn't due to irritation from the product itself, but rather from the cushion losing moisture over time. I tend to be sensitive to watery cushions, so others might not have this issue. Combined with the typical tightness of matte cushions, it wasn't the most comfortable for my skin, which was disappointing. It's crucial to control the amount you use. Even though the consistency is thin and it might not seem like much, it's quite powder-heavy and can look cakey. I'd suggest experimenting a few times to find the right amount for your skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 12, 2023
The Clio Kill Cover Founwear The New Cushion (purchased with my own money) is impressive. The puff is firm and seems to release the absorbed product well. It applies thinly, making touch-ups a breeze! The case is absolutely gorgeous. Plus, it comes with a refill, making it great value for money! My skin tone is around 23, but the Ginger shade was too light for me. I wish they'd release darker shades. When used alone, the staying power is short-lived and it breaks down quickly. Even with powder, the darkening is quite severe. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 2, 2023
I was on the hunt for a semi-matte cushion and this one hit the mark! Even with a small amount, it provides great coverage and can be applied in a thin layer. My skin tone is around 22-23 with a reddish undertone, but this cushion gives a slightly lighter finish. I like to apply it brighter on my cheeks and mix it with a cushion that matches my complexion for a perfect blend. However, touch-ups can be a bit tricky. Usually, cushions are convenient for on-the-go fixes, but because this one is matte, you need to wipe off the existing product with a pad before reapplying to avoid patchiness. For best results, start by exfoliating with a toner or pad to remove dead skin cells. Then layer your skincare: toner, serum, and moisturizer (either a hydrating cream or barrier cream). Pat in an appropriate amount based on the season. If your skin feels particularly dry, I recommend doing a sheet mask before application!
