The coverage, adherence, and lasting power are all top-notch!! It's my holy grail cushion, so I'll keep using it for sure. The only downside is that it doesn't go on sale as often as I'd hoped, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2025
This one really needs to be applied thinly in multiple layers using a spatula for better longevity. I'm serious! If it didn't work for you before, please try this method! The color doesn't seem like shade 24, it's more like 21-22. I use the Hero Cushion in shade 22, and this was a bit lighter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 16, 2024
I borrowed my friend's cushion and it's amazing! The staying power is great, and even when it fades, it does so beautifully. Some of my friends have even asked which cushion I'm using. Just go ahead and buy it with confidence! Well, it can sometimes darken the skin a bit too much. Lately, it's been a bit disappointing... It might be due to the change in seasons, as it didn't happen before, but it seems to be occurring now that the weather's getting colder. Gently pat it around your eyes, and then bounce it on your cheeks for the best application. Easy peasy! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 24, 2024
I tried the Kill Cover foundation because of its popularity, and I'm so impressed! The staying power is excellent, and I love that it has SPF50, so I don't even need to apply sunscreen separately. There's nothing particularly bad to mention! Even though I have dry skin, it doesn't make my skin feel excessively dry. It's quite usable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 7, 2024
The coverage seems pretty good, and the staying power is quite impressive. My complexion is on the darker side, and shade 4 matches my skin tone perfectly. When applied, it gives a natural 'no-makeup makeup' look, which I love. It also provides a beautifully luminous glow. I definitely plan to repurchase. I personally prefer a more matte finish, so I'm a bit disappointed that this doesn't provide that. It's not as powder-like as I'd like. During summer, my T-zone gets extremely oily with this, so I don't use it much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2024
I bought this after getting a personal color analysis that recommended this deep undertone shade. The natural color really evens out my complexion, which I love. It's perfect for my combination skin, giving a semi-matte finish without feeling dry. The staying power is pretty good too. It tends to pill when I try to touch up, and you can see it settling into the creases around my nose. Not great for touch-ups. It doesn't provide 100% pore coverage either. I use this for my initial makeup application, but I carry the Hera Black Cushion for touch-ups. For perfect pore coverage, I use Hanskin as a base before applying this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 2, 2024
The coverage is excellent and it lasts well. It fades gracefully throughout the day. In dry environments with heaters on, like nowadays, it tends to separate on the skin. Keep in mind that touch-ups might still be necessary, so plan accordingly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 31, 2023
1. After setting, there's minimal transfer when touching your face, and it doesn't leave noticeable imprints. 2. The longevity is quite good. 3. There's very little darkening. 4. The packaging is unique and fresh compared to other brands, which is appealing! 5. It doesn't break down messily, which is great. 6. It covers redness fairly well. 7. For a matte finish, it feels hydrating when first applied (perhaps because it's semi-matte?). 8. It provides a nice balance - covering small blemishes while slightly showing through larger ones. 9. You can really feel the upgrade from previous Kill Cover lines. It's clear they put a lot of effort into this! 10. The texture is thinner than before, and it's nice to see they've tried something new! As someone with combination skin - oily T-zone and butterfly zone in summer, dry cheeks and chin, and both surface and deep dryness in winter with slight oiliness after makeup - this didn't work well for me. 1. Even with a moisturizing base, it becomes very drying over time, especially causing deep dryness. 2. Patting doesn't cover pores well on the nose, so you need to spread it. 3. Spreading tends to emphasize dead skin cells. (Though as oil emerges over time, the emphasized areas settle and look more natural) 4. I have deep smile lines, and when I smile wearing this cushion, it severely accentuates them, probably due to the dryness. 5. The sponge is quite firm, which contrary to expectations, makes it tricky to control the amount of product. 6. On my skin, it felt like it was sitting on top rather than blending in. 7. I heard touch-ups were easy, but when I tried, it seemed to make the makeup look more cakey, sit on top of the skin, and feel thicker. 8. The dip in the puff makes it hard to apply pressure evenly, so I ended up mainly using the raised part. 9. While I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I always get pimples or blemishes on my chin or cheeks after using this cushion. You need to spread it on the nose! Recommended for those who can apply even pressure with the dipped puff! Recommended for oily and combination dehydrated skin / Not recommended for dry skin! Apply very thinly over deep wrinkles to minimize their appearance! There's some transfer when it's still moist, but less so after it sets and becomes matte. Still, powder is necessary! Overall, this cushion requires some skill to apply effectively. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 9, 2023
The best thing about this cushion is how it applies. It has a watery, thin consistency that you can pat on with the puff. Compared to powdery, matte cushions, this one's application is so much better that I found myself reaching for it often. Most people should be satisfied with its staying power and coverage. The charm of this product lies in its thin application, so if you need heavier coverage, you might want to look at other cushions. Its resistance to breaking down throughout the day was decent - not bad, but there are better options out there. It's not a significant drawback though. I also loved the color. I always struggle with shade 21 being too light and 23 being a bit dark, but this cushion's color was just right. Think of it as a light 23 or maybe a 22. The color itself is pretty, leaning more yellow than red. As someone with yellow undertones, I was really pleased. Of course, color preference varies, so I'd recommend testing it out yourself. The longevity and coverage should satisfy most users. This product shines in its thin application, so those needing more coverage might prefer a different cushion. It held up okay throughout the day - not the best on the market, but certainly not a deal-breaker. Depending on the day, I experienced some itchiness. It wasn't due to irritation from the product itself, but rather from the cushion losing moisture over time. I tend to be sensitive to watery cushions, so others might not have this issue. Combined with the typical tightness of matte cushions, it wasn't the most comfortable for my skin, which was disappointing. It's crucial to control the amount you use. Even though the consistency is thin and it might not seem like much, it's quite powder-heavy and can look cakey. I'd suggest experimenting a few times to find the right amount for your skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 8, 2023
The shade 23 matched my skin tone perfectly, giving me a radiant complexion. I was really pleased with how it brightened up my face! It's too drying for those with dry skin to use in winter. It's okay for summer, but you need to apply a solid base of skincare products first. The coverage is just average, unfortunately. The staying power is decent, but nothing extraordinary.
