Current skin type - Super sensitive combination dehydrated skin (prone to blemishes and acne) Quantity - One full-size product lasted me just under a year! Texture - Feels moisturizing when applied, but sets to a semi-matte finish Scent - No distinct fragrance, just a typical cosmetic smell Improvements - When applied, it covers most redness and dark circles! It's not full coverage, but I'd say it conceals about 87% out of 100% There is some darkening, but the difference isn't too noticeable Drawbacks - Not recommended for those who wear masks regularly! It tends to come off around the nose area after eating lunch with a mask on, and it can emphasize dead skin cells. Even without a mask, it can separate a bit - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2024
This cushion foundation seems to have a semi-matte finish that's great for oily skin or those prone to blemishes While there aren't any major drawbacks, it might have a slight tendency to sit on top of the skin, but I suspect this could happen with other cushion foundations too - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 6, 2024
I loved how moisturizing it felt when applying, and the semi-matte finish was great! The color seemed closer to shade 22 than 23. After trying cushions from other brands that didn't suit me well, I found this one to be a perfect match! As time passed, it became noticeably oily. While the case is pretty, it takes up a lot of space, and it cracked after I dropped it once. For those long days when you need your makeup to last, I found that lightly dusting some oil-control powder over the cushion foundation really helps it stay put! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 15, 2024
With its balanced hydration and matte finish, this product is perfect for use from spring to fall. I've already gone through 5-6 bottles, which shows how much I love it. Although it's shade 4 Ginger, it feels a bit light for my 22-23 skin tone, so I use it more as a highlighter rather than all over. It's also great for touch-ups during the day. For those who typically use shades 22/23, the shade 4 Ginger might be a bit too light. This product works hard to even out your complexion while providing a natural glow. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, making it ideal for combination dehydrated skin. The brightening moisturizer effect helps combat any redness or blemishes, leaving your skin looking fresh and radiant. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 1, 2024
I bought this after getting a personal color analysis that recommended this deep undertone shade. The natural color really evens out my complexion, which I love. It's perfect for my combination skin, giving a semi-matte finish without feeling dry. The staying power is pretty good too. It tends to pill when I try to touch up, and you can see it settling into the creases around my nose. Not great for touch-ups. It doesn't provide 100% pore coverage either. I use this for my initial makeup application, but I carry the Hera Black Cushion for touch-ups. For perfect pore coverage, I use Hanskin as a base before applying this. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 27, 2023
It provides great coverage, and even though it's marketed as a matte cushion, it felt quite hydrating on my dry-but-moisturized skin. I was worried about buying an oily skin cushion for my dry skin, but now I'm wondering why I didn't try it sooner! It's absolutely fantastic, so I highly recommend you give it a try! I did a transfer test and noticed a slight transfer, which was a bit disappointing. However, it wasn't noticeable on the skin, which was a relief! If you apply powder after using the cushion, it doesn't transfer at all! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 31, 2023
1. After setting, there's minimal transfer when touching your face, and it doesn't leave noticeable imprints. 2. The longevity is quite good. 3. There's very little darkening. 4. The packaging is unique and fresh compared to other brands, which is appealing! 5. It doesn't break down messily, which is great. 6. It covers redness fairly well. 7. For a matte finish, it feels hydrating when first applied (perhaps because it's semi-matte?). 8. It provides a nice balance - covering small blemishes while slightly showing through larger ones. 9. You can really feel the upgrade from previous Kill Cover lines. It's clear they put a lot of effort into this! 10. The texture is thinner than before, and it's nice to see they've tried something new! As someone with combination skin - oily T-zone and butterfly zone in summer, dry cheeks and chin, and both surface and deep dryness in winter with slight oiliness after makeup - this didn't work well for me. 1. Even with a moisturizing base, it becomes very drying over time, especially causing deep dryness. 2. Patting doesn't cover pores well on the nose, so you need to spread it. 3. Spreading tends to emphasize dead skin cells. (Though as oil emerges over time, the emphasized areas settle and look more natural) 4. I have deep smile lines, and when I smile wearing this cushion, it severely accentuates them, probably due to the dryness. 5. The sponge is quite firm, which contrary to expectations, makes it tricky to control the amount of product. 6. On my skin, it felt like it was sitting on top rather than blending in. 7. I heard touch-ups were easy, but when I tried, it seemed to make the makeup look more cakey, sit on top of the skin, and feel thicker. 8. The dip in the puff makes it hard to apply pressure evenly, so I ended up mainly using the raised part. 9. While I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I always get pimples or blemishes on my chin or cheeks after using this cushion. You need to spread it on the nose! Recommended for those who can apply even pressure with the dipped puff! Recommended for oily and combination dehydrated skin / Not recommended for dry skin! Apply very thinly over deep wrinkles to minimize their appearance! There's some transfer when it's still moist, but less so after it sets and becomes matte. Still, powder is necessary! Overall, this cushion requires some skill to apply effectively. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 12, 2023
It's incredibly matte! I didn't even need to apply powder separately, and it felt really velvety smooth. As someone with oily skin, I was looking for a matte cushion, and this seems to be the most matte among all the matte cushions I've tried. When it starts to wear off, it doesn't break down very gracefully. Even with thorough skincare, it can become dry and emphasize dead skin cells. If you apply powder, it becomes even drier and tends to clump together, I'd say. It requires constant touch-ups. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 1, 2023
The coverage is seriously top-notch! Not only does it provide excellent coverage, but its matte formula also gives your skin a noticeably cleaner look. Best of all, it's so pretty to carry around with you. The shade is too dark for me. At first, I thought it wasn't bad, but the more I used it, the darker it seemed. I regret buying this now. It's a bit of a waste of money. Also, it tends to settle into pores, which is disappointing. Make sure to apply a solid skincare base and definitely use a primer before applying this cushion foundation. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2023
I have oily skin with redness, and I use shade 23. I managed to get this product, which I regularly use, at a great price. It's fantastic because it doesn't cake even without much effort in skincare prep. It perfectly covers my redness and doesn't settle into pores. As a matte cushion, it's not an exaggeration to say this is all you need for summer. I use the ginger shade since it's 23, but it's a bit too light for me. That's somewhat disappointing.
