It has great cleansing effectiveness, lathers well, and feels less harsh on the skin, which I really appreciate. I probably wouldn't buy it unless it's on sale... My hair got oily quickly even though I don't have an oily scalp. - tk*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 1, 2024
After using it for over a year, I can say it hasn't caused any major issues or problems for my scalp. I've never experienced any blemishes on my scalp or hair, nor any dead skin cells or dandruff. The cleansing effectiveness is also good. I felt the soothing effect more on my scalp than on my hair. Personally, it didn't bother me, but the scent is similar to traditional herbal shampoos, which might be hit or miss for some people. One thing I've noticed with long-term use is that it makes your hair quite stiff and coarse. Occasionally, when I visit friends or go to my parents' house and use regular shampoo, I find my hair becomes softer. However, after using regular shampoo for an extended period, I strangely start to feel itchy, as if something is growing on my scalp, which makes me reach for the Healing Force shampoo again. If you find your hair becoming too stiff, you might want to try using a conditioner or look into some hair essence products. - yj*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 2, 2023
It has a gentle feel, with a subtle fragrance, and seems to have decent cleansing effectiveness. It's too drying, leaving my hair feeling brittle and straw-like. The dryness seems to cause dead skin cells to flake off. - ar**Combination SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2023
While it's not a perfect product, I like the ingredients, and it worked well for my scalp when I suddenly developed seborrheic dermatitis. It helps control the itching to some extent, so it's become a staple in my routine. It would be great if the price was a bit lower and if there was a larger size available. - ki**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2023
The lather is rich and gentle. The cleansing effectiveness is not bad either. However, when I use only this shampoo, I keep getting blemishes, so I just gave it to my less sensitive boyfriend. Also, the tube packaging is extremely inconvenient to use. The scent is really not great either... - 01********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2023
I've tried everything from $15 shampoos to pharmacy and supermarket brands, but this one truly takes the cake... You'll have to give up on the scent... And make sure to rinse thoroughly and dry your scalp completely afterwards. - k8******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2023
The hair texture feels pretty decent, and it lathers up nicely. The cleansing effectiveness and sebum control are not bad at all. The ingredients are good too. Overall, it seems like a well-developed shampoo that's been thoughtfully formulated. Initially, there were no issues, but after using about half the bottle, I've noticed a few blemishes popping up. I'm not sure if it's due to the salicylic acid, citric acid, or just the weather. Despite this, I still plan to continue using it. - hy******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2023
My scalp was sensitive, itchy, with lots of dead skin cells, and symptoms similar to seborrheic dermatitis. I think it's because I have atopic skin. So, I never skimped on shampoos, tried many different ones, and spent a lot of money. But this is the first shampoo I'm reviewing after using up the whole bottle. First, it noticeably reduced flakes, making my scalp look cleaner. Second, the itching is almost gone. The unbearable itchiness I suffered from has completely disappeared. After a week of use, I barely feel any itching. Third, it definitely doesn't make my hair greasy, but it's not drying either. I'm so satisfied that I really want people with super sensitive skin like me to try this when it's on sale. I'm sticking with this shampoo from now on. I even bought the treatment too! It might feel a bit stiff to some, but I didn't find it drying or uncomfortable, so it doesn't bother me much. However, those with very dry scalps might find it a bit drying. Work up a good lather in your hands and massage it into your scalp using your fingertips, not your palms, as if you're gently scratching. Also, lukewarm water works best. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2022
This shampoo is great for those with oily scalps, offering excellent cleansing effectiveness without being too harsh on the scalp. Well... I didn't find anything disappointing, but for those who prioritize fragrance in their shampoo, you might be let down as it doesn't leave a strong scent after showering. - na*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

After rinsing, there's a refreshing coolness, and it's not too harsh, so I think even those with sensitive skin could use it! I'll need to use it a bit longer to fully assess its effectiveness, but for now, I'm satisfied! The texture is slightly thick, so it doesn't produce an extremely rich lather! The price seems a bit high for the amount you get... Instead of applying it directly to your hair after pumping, try mixing it with water to create a lather before washing. This way, you can clean your hair using less product!
