I've found my holy grail hair wax! It's less sticky and feels great. There's nothing to complain about. I can't find any flaws! You absolutely must use this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 21, 2022
As a vegan product, it's fantastic for those concerned about their hair and scalp when applying wax. A friend who usually uses wax tried it too, and we both love the beautiful design and how it absorbs well without any stickiness. Compared to other brands, it seems to leave less of that characteristic stiffness when washing your hair. While the hold might be a bit weak, I personally prefer a more natural look, so it was fine for me. Apart from the initial awkwardness of using a tube-type wax, I didn't find any inconveniences. It's great for creating natural updos. For those who need extra hold, I'd recommend finishing with a couple of sprays of hairspray. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 21, 2022
Since I don't use wax products myself, I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend, and he's been using it with great satisfaction. From my perspective as a non-user, I was impressed by the paper packaging and the recyclable aluminum tube. I'd recommend this to people who are deeply conscious about vegan products. My boyfriend, who actually uses it, says it has a moisturizing emulsion-like texture without any stickiness, making it easy to use. Well, there's not much to criticize, but I think it might be nice if they considered offering a larger size option. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
Absorbs well: No sticky feeling Scent: Almost unscented When applied to hair, it doesn't feel overly stiff or hard, which is great The areas where it's applied tend to look a bit sunken After some time, it starts to look oily (quite shiny) Personally, I think it holds for about 3-4 hours If you comb your hair after applying, it becomes less noticeable When using the product, it's best to press down gently as you apply - Hwahae UserOily SkinNov 18, 2022
I liked that it wasn't heavy or greasy. The hold is somewhere between soft and hard - not quite strong enough to be called 'hard', but with a bit more strength than 'soft'. For me, who doesn't usually go for intense hairstyling, this was still slightly heavy! It definitely had less stickiness, and being vegan, it washed out completely with just one shampoo! The aluminum packaging might make it harder to squeeze out the product as you use it more. Also, even though the opening is wide, if you press too hard, you might end up with more product than you intended. The hold isn't strong enough on its own. For a firm hold, you'll definitely need to use hairspray as well! Personally, I mix in a tiny bit of aloe gel when applying to protect my scalp. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
The most satisfying aspect of this product... its subtle scent and smooth application! My husband's hair wax has a strong fragrance that triggers my morning sickness. Due to the intense smell, we couldn't use it at home. However, this product has a mild, pleasant herbal aroma that doesn't bother me even when I test it on my hands - which is fantastic. The texture is creamy and spreads easily, with minimal stickiness, and rinses off well with just water. It allows for a natural-looking style rather than a stiff appearance. Plus, it leaves no residue when wiped with a wet wipe, making it great for on-the-go use. While it's great for creating a light and natural hairstyle, the hold could be a bit stronger... If you find the hold lacking, try using it in combination with a water spray for better results! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2022
I tried a wax in tube form for the first time, and it was surprisingly convenient and great! The scent isn't overpowering, and it's not very sticky, making it perfect for those new to hair wax or anyone who's not used to styling their hair. It's also ideal for those who tend to be a bit lazy with their hair routine. It's easier to wash out compared to sprays or other hard waxes. However, if you're looking for strong, long-lasting hold, you'll definitely need to use a spray in addition to this! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinNov 18, 2022
When applied to the hands, it doesn't feel overly sticky and has a soft texture. While it doesn't have strong hold, it allows for flexible styling, creating a natural look. The shine is also subtle, giving an overall dapper appearance. Being a vegan product, it washes out easily with shampoo, which seems to be its best feature compared to other products as it doesn't irritate the scalp. The opening method involves piercing the seal with the pointed part of the cap. When first squeezing out the product, something dark and metallic-looking came out, which was probably residue from piercing the opening. It was a bit unsettling. As the hold isn't very strong, those with short hair wanting a pomade look or people with very unruly hair might find it challenging to achieve their desired style. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
The fact that it's a vegan product was a huge plus, giving me peace of mind while using it! Being a pomade, I thought it might have a very matte texture and not be wet-looking, but the way it applies is great. I used it effectively to tame flyaways, and as a woman, I found it perfect for styling my side bangs and keeping the back of my hair neat! I was surprised that there was no sticky residue left on my hands after use (of course, you should still wash your hands, but the feeling wasn't unpleasant). My husband, who has a down perm, let me style his hair, and guess what? He liked it even more than I did! He said the hold was good and that it was much better than the hard waxes and sprays he used before. While there aren't any major drawbacks, I'd say it might not provide the dramatic, super-strong hold that some hard waxes do! I think it's great that you can apply a moderate amount first, then add more to areas where you want a wetter look. The best tip is to always start with less and gradually build up your style, rather than applying too much at once. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2022
As a man in my 20s who started growing out my hair in winter and became interested in hair health, I found the Orute Vegan Clay Pomade to be the best product. It's eco-friendly and doesn't leave any sticky feeling from application until I wash it out in the evening. I use it every morning without any issues - it's fantastic! There's nothing I dislike about it. If anything, I was surprised by how much product there was when I first opened it - the volume is quite generous.
