The cleansing effectiveness is definitely there, and I loved the minty scent. I bought this because I was losing hair, but after using it, I experienced severe hair loss as a side effect. I'm not normally prone to hair loss, but my unnecessary experimentation almost turned me into someone with alopecia. - dl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2025
I was satisfied with the initial use. There is a slightly refreshing sensation. Sensitive individuals should be discreet and avoid drawing attention. - ma*********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2025
First off, it feels like it cleanses well. You can definitely sense it's cleaning your scalp effectively. There's no dramatically noticeable effect, and if it doesn't suit you well, it might even cause dandruff. - bj*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2025
A decent cooling shampoo that's refreshingly cool. It's usable, though it does leave the hair a bit stiff. A decent cooling shampoo that's refreshingly cool. It's usable, though it does leave the hair a bit stiff. No blemishes to report. - eo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinFeb 13, 2025
I couldn't really pinpoint any specific benefits. I'm not sure about its effectiveness, but I do like the amount you get. The lather isn't very rich, and I'm not confident it's removing impurities effectively. - u1****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2025
- The blue formula was intriguing, and it lathers well. The stiffness typical of anti-hair loss shampoos is slightly reduced, making for a pleasant user experience. - While I haven't seen dramatic results yet, there's noticeably less hair fall during washing, which I find effective. (Only about half to a third of my usual hair loss occurs when shampooing.) - I bought the small version with a lid, but the cap is quite stiff. So I just leave it open when using. - Since it's marketed for men, it has a strong masculine cologne scent, which can be a bit much. Fortunately, the fragrance doesn't linger and dissipates quickly. - al*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 16, 2025
It seems to have significantly reduced my scalp itchiness. The only downside is the steep price. The high price is definitely a drawback. It costs about twice as much as other shampoos. - tk********Oily SkinEnlarged PoresJan 5, 2025
It seems to provide thorough cleansing with a refreshing feel However, the more I use it, the more my scalp itches and burns, unfortunately - ch*****Dry SkinRecommendedDec 23, 2024
Feels refreshing and invigorating after washing my hair. As a caffeine shampoo, it seems to have a slightly positive effect on hair thickness. I've been using it for over 6 months, and while I'm not certain if Alpecin shampoo is the cause, my scalp has been itchy. - na*********Oily SkinDec 3, 2024
I had a good feeling about it. It seemed like a placebo effect. I'm not using it anymore though. It's a bit pricey. The cap being on top makes it inconvenient since it's not a squeeze-type bottle.
