Skin type: Extremely oily Shade: 21 Yellow~Neutral I usually have a solid skincare routine, so it doesn't get cakey at all. It has good adherence and the coverage is light yet effective when applied with the right amount on the back of the hand. It's a semi-matte finish. In the summer, since I'm extremely oily, the oil does start to come through about 4 hours after application (even with powder). In the winter, I can go about 6 hours without needing oil blotting paper. I'm not sure about the darkening, but this is my 3rd repurchase of this cushion, so I can recommend it.
Cons
In winter, if you don't properly take care of your skin, you may peel off.

Building a solid foundation and using it would be extremely satisfactory, this mat cushion.

This product has got it all - great coverage, seamless application, and beautiful skin expression🥺 I strongly recommend it as a summer cushion🫶 Even though I have dry skin, it always provides amazing hydration in the winter, and I love it so much that I would even buy the Hwahae cushion🙀💗 It has a semi-matte formula, and I've tried many other cushions, but I always come back to Hwahae... It breaks down beautifully without looking cakey, and if you control the application, there's hardly any pilling. Just stipple it on and you'll get a legendary skin finish...!! It's truly the #1 cushion to use in the summer, no doubt. For cool-toned skin, go for the 21 Rose shade, and for warm-toned skin, choose the shade that suits your tone (I accidentally bought the 21 Ivory and it worked out fine ㅋㅋㅠㅜ). I used to be a cushion nomad, but I've finally settled with Hwahae... You have to try it at least once!! Highly recommended!!

My skin was dry, so I was wondering if I should buy a moisturizer. However, I heard that it's a bit moisturizing even for dry skin types, so I tried it and it really helps with my inner dryness - it's a semi-matte cushion! I have a lot of blemishes, but the coverage is also good~

The design was just pretty, and it seems the recommended skin type is oily. As a combination skin type, it was too matte for me!!

The 21st shade was too dark for me, and my sister's use of the 19 Light shade also didn't suit me... I thought 20 would be better! It was too matte and only usable on its own... And it was so gross that the butterfly zone and my nose were peeling off in less than 4 hours..🤢🤢 I thought the sebum-absorbing and semi-matte formula would be good, but it was way too drying and matte. I plan to buy something else during the Olive Young sale in March, but I ended up buying it at the regular price in Myeongdong, losing 38,000 won... Extremely not recommended!!😵😵😵

I'm a combination of intelligence and complexity, so the cushion I used to use well in the summer. When I apply it, it goes up to a semi-matte, and later it seems to change slightly to a matte. The cushion I used before would crumble over time and make my forehead and T-zone shiny due to oil, so I had to retouch my makeup. But this one doesn't require constant retouching throughout the day and doesn't break down, which is great! It has a matte and clean finish that lasts a long time.
Cons
However, since my skin is dry, the matte cushion tends to emphasize any dry patches if I don't properly moisturize my skin before applying it. Lately, the weather has been getting chilly and dry, so I can't just let my dry skin show through. I'll try to address the dryness as much as possible.
