As you can see from the ingredients, it's bound to be effective at removing makeup. I can guarantee it dissolves and washes off well. It works wonders even on teenage noses where each pore in the T-zone builds a fortress of dead skin cells, acting like a feudal lord of sebum, if you skip exfoliation for just two days. Being solid rather than liquid makes it super convenient to carry around. I had a hunch from the start when it was in solid form, but PEG and PPG are the main ingredients. They're present in such high concentrations that they'll make even the most stubborn pores open up in a flash. Personally, I can't use it at all as it causes inflammation in every pore. For teenagers, we'll have to wait and see if it triggers a breakout explosion. Don't leave it in a warm place during the height of summer. Keep the ingredients in mind and only use it if it suits your skin type. For most people with normal skin, make sure to replenish the fatty acids that get washed away from your pores and skin with moisturizing ingredients like myristate that are included. Don't destroy the whole kingdom just to break down a few fortresses. - gu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 25, 2022
Many bathroom products need to be stored upside down, which can lead to water stains or mold on the lid if not used frequently. This one's designed with the lid on top, so no worries there. Usually, night-time cleansers like this require a spatula, but with this one, you can just open the lid and apply directly - super convenient! Even for those of us who are a bit lazy (myself included!), you can just open the lid and massage it onto your face for easy makeup removal. The texture is just right - firm enough not to crumble when pressed onto the skin, but spreads smoothly and emulsifies perfectly without dripping. It cleanses so well that my skin doesn't feel tight after rinsing. Interestingly, it has a slight floral scent when first opened, but transforms into an oil fragrance on the skin. The scent is subtle, which I like. The outer packaging is a unique and pretty purple, and the balm inside matches with a pastel purple tone - it's visually appealing too. The slightly firm stick helps remove makeup more effectively as you apply pressure, and it's great for clearing out pores and dead skin cells on the nose. It contains Centella Asiatica extract, which might be why my skin feels so comfortable and irritation-free after cleansing. Everything's great except the quantity is too small. The first photo shows it fully extended - I'm worried it'll run out quickly. Also, you'll need a separate point remover. This product doesn't thoroughly remove lip and eye makeup, so you'll need to use a dedicated remover for those areas first. Since the quantity is small, try to buy it during a buy-one-get-one-free event!
