The scent is lovely, it lathers up nicely, and I feel like I'm losing less hair. I really enjoyed using it! It's pricey, that's for sure. But the performance is so good that I'd definitely buy it again when it's on sale! - jj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2023
The formula is highly concentrated and has a rich, bouncy texture. The scent is refreshingly pleasant. It lathers up well and provides a strong cooling effect (leaving a cool sensation when the foam is left on). While it cleanses effectively, it keeps the hair soft. Impressively, the extract is listed as the first ingredient. As someone with super sensitive skin on my scalp, I think the lemon peel oil or similar ingredients don't agree with me. I felt an itchy sensation, so I won't be able to continue using it, unfortunately. I believe this shampoo could work well for those who don't have immediate reactions to sensitive ingredients like I do. For an anti-hair loss shampoo, it has a nice feel when using. It's not an overly harsh shampoo by any means... it's just that my scalp is extremely delicate. If you're focusing on the anti-hair loss benefits, I think this is a decent shampoo. - ri********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 28, 2023
This shampoo comes in a sleek black bottle with a matching black formula. A little goes a long way in creating a rich lather, but it's important to work the thick, creamy texture thoroughly into your hair. The scent is a refreshing blend of peppermint and citrus that leaves your scalp feeling invigorated. If you let it sit for a moment before rinsing, you'll experience a cooling sensation that even follows the path of the water as it rinses away. After use, your hair might feel slightly firmer, but you'll notice a deep cleanse that removes buildup from both your scalp and strands. There's also a noticeable boost in volume that makes your hair appear fuller. The price point is a bit steep compared to regular shampoos, though it's in line with other anti-hair loss formulas. Towards the end of the bottle, it becomes a bit challenging to squeeze out the remaining product. - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 27, 2022
I was curious about the black shampoo, so I tried a sample size. It exceeded my expectations, which is why I'm writing this review! The color is less intense than I expected - it's not black, but more of an opaque grayish-black, which thankfully wasn't off-putting. I was worried it might look strange if it was too dark. The formula is very concentrated, and when lathered, it creates an incredibly rich, dense foam. It felt like it effectively absorbed impurities and rinsed out well. The best part was that despite its strong cleansing power, it didn't leave my scalp feeling dry. Instead, it felt moisturized after washing. It's as if it removed excess oil while retaining moisture. The scalp purification was a truly amazing experience. Massaging it into the scalp creates a pleasantly cool sensation. Even after washing, a fragrant and refreshing feeling lingered, which was delightful. I usually dislike menthol-like coolness, but this has a citrus scent that gives a slight cooling effect on the scalp, which I found satisfying. The shampoo feels gentle rather than harsh, so I recommend it. Oh, and my hair felt stronger somehow? It's really appealing. Surprisingly, despite this, my hair wasn't stiff but incredibly soft. I plan to buy the full-size product and use it consistently. Thanks to this sample, I've discovered a shampoo I really like after a long time. There aren't any cons so far! I only experienced benefits while using the sample, but if I notice any drawbacks with further use, I'll update my review. Rub the shampoo between your palms to create a rich lather before applying it to your scalp. It really produces a dense, creamy foam. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2022
Wow, this black shampoo is so cool! It smells great, and even though it's for hair loss, it makes my hair feel soft. Usually, anti-hair loss shampoos make hair stiff, but this one's different. I really like it! If only they could lower the price a bit... It feels a bit expensive. I'd love to keep using it though. The texture is super thick, so you need to put some muscle into pumping it out. But honestly, that's not a big deal. - 2w********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The exterior is simple and black, not looking like typical shampoo. ➡️Texture & Lather: -Feels concentrated with a thick, sticky consistency -Compared to store-bought shampoos, it doesn't lather as much, but it's still comfortable to use ➡️Scent: -Similar to other herbal shampoos with citrus notes. Pleasant and easy to use ➡️After Use: -For those dealing with hair loss, it's crucial that the scalp and hair don't get greasy over time. This shampoo definitely addresses that, leaving a clean feeling -Unlike many commercial products that cause dead skin cells to flake, this Centenary product noticeably reduces that issue -The most impressive aspect is how it maintains hair thickness and strength. This is the best benefit I've noticed while using the Centenary product -The small volume compared to the high price is the biggest drawback -A pump dispenser would be more convenient - ha******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Despite its thick consistency, it lathers extremely well and gives a refreshing, cooling sensation. Compared to other shampoos, it makes hair washing a more invigorating experience. • Hydration: With my previous shampoo, my hair felt dry after drying. However, this shampoo seems to be packed with moisturizing ingredients. Even without using a separate treatment, my hair feels softer just from shampooing alone. • Simple packaging: I love the packaging - a cute polar bear on the case with a simple black design that doesn't clash with bathroom decor. • Allergic reaction: For someone with sensitive/seborrheic scalp like me, it triggered my seborrheic dermatitis again. My previous shampoo was specifically formulated for seborrheic scalp, but this one seems to contain ingredients that clog pores. As I continued using it, small blemishes that had disappeared started reappearing one by one. I suspect this might be due to the moisturizing agents/oils in the formula. • No improvement in hair loss: As the pores got clogged, it seemed like I was losing more hair. I don't usually shed much when washing my hair, but with this shampoo, I felt like I was losing more than usual. Overall assessment: Generally satisfactory. For those with dry or combination dehydrated scalp (but not sensitive), this could be an excellent choice - a shampoo that lathers well without drying out the hair. However, for those with sensitive or seborrheic scalp, I feel this shampoo might not be suitable for long-term use. - go******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 28, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Color: It's a deep purple? Almost black? Scent: It has a slightly cool, lemony fragrance Design: Honestly, I used to think that for cosmetics and body wash products, function was all that mattered, not design. But this one is truly beautiful! I was surprised when I first saw it. It would make an excellent gift! Function: While it's advertised primarily as an anti-hair loss shampoo, to be honest, using this shampoo for 1-2 weeks won't dramatically improve hair loss or make you go 'Wow!' (My dad has hair loss issues, so he used it often). However, I think it's much better than not using anything at all :) Personally, I prefer pump-type shampoo bottles, but this product has a flip-cap that you have to squeeze. I noticed in other reviews that they sometimes provide a pump-top lid, but I guess this might vary depending on personal preference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 28, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I think using it for a month would show 100% of its effects. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. The moisturizing effect on the scalp felt really good. However, it might cause issues for those with oily scalps. My family has dry scalps, so we're using it very well. - ye*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 28, 2022Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It leaves your hair feeling clean and firm, with a refreshing sensation on the scalp that's perfect for seborrheic dermatitis. I haven't been using it long enough to notice significant hair growth, but as someone with a seborrheic scalp, I'm definitely seeing less dandruff, which is fantastic. Plus, the black color of the shampoo gives it a luxurious look. It might not be the best choice for those with dry scalps and hair loss. Also, if you have fine hair, you may experience more static electricity, so I'd recommend using it along with a conditioner. This shampoo gradually builds up a cool sensation, so it's best to apply it and massage your scalp for a while to get the full effect!
