  Pros

  I have naturally curly hair and used this product a little over a year after my most recent perm. I was surprised to see natural waves after drying. It definitely styled my hair with more defined curls compared to using regular shampoo, which I loved! Scent: I can't pinpoint the exact fragrance, but it's subtle and long-lasting, which I really appreciate. Texture: It's smooth and lathers up nicely with rich foam.

  Cons

  While it's good, the price feels a bit steep for regular purchases. A shampoo costing $60 is quite something... Also, it would have been more convenient if it came in a pump bottle. That's a bit disappointing.

  Pros

  1. Texture It has a transparent consistency with a slight viscosity, not too runny. It's just right - not too thick which would make it hard to lather and rinse thoroughly. 2. Cleansing effectiveness I naturally have a dry scalp that doesn't produce much oil even after 24 hours. Sometimes with weaker shampoos, I feel a bit of buildup after a day. However, this shampoo's cleansing power is so good that even after 24 hours, there's barely any oily feeling. 3. Hair texture My hair was quite damaged at the ends after getting a perm, but after using this shampoo, I noticed that the curls I styled while drying my hair seemed to hold better than usual.

  It's disappointing that the container is opaque, making it impossible to see how much product is left.

  Pros

  Although it hasn't been long since I got my perm, it had started to loosen, leaving my curls a bit limp. To test its effectiveness, I alternated between using a regular shampoo and Curly Wavy every other day. I noticed that when using Curly Wavy, my curls remained bouncy and defined, unlike with the regular shampoo. For best results, I think it's better to apply essence and let your hair air dry naturally rather than blow-drying extensively. This way, you can truly experience the shampoo's benefits. I also loved the fragrance, and it didn't cause any tingling or irritation on my scalp, which was great.

  Cons

  Like some others have mentioned, I did notice a few small blemishes appearing on my scalp. However, since I haven't used it long-term, I'm not sure if they were caused by Curly Wavy or something else. If you have super sensitive skin on your scalp, it might be a good idea to carefully check the ingredients before using.

  Tip

  I left the shampoo on for a longer time during washing, and followed up with a treatment to make my hair soft. After washing, I recommend minimally drying just the scalp area and letting the rest air dry naturally to maintain the curls well. I used a regular hair oil, but for those who want to enhance their curls even more, I'd suggest using a curling essence! I definitely recommend this for anyone who's concerned about their perm losing its shape. It works hard to keep those curls defined!
