I was surprised to see natural waves after drying. It definitely styled my hair with more defined curls compared to using regular shampoo, which I loved! Scent: I can't pinpoint the exact fragrance, but it's subtle and long-lasting, which I really appreciate. Texture: It's smooth and lathers up nicely with rich foam. While it's good, the price feels a bit steep for regular purchases. A shampoo costing $60 is quite something... Also, it would have been more convenient if it came in a pump bottle. That's a bit disappointing.

The shampoo comes out as a clear gel, which is great. The cleansing power for the scalp is impressive. Usually, after not washing my hair for 2-3 days, I'd need to shampoo twice, but with this, the rich lather really does the job. Even after 2-3 days, one wash leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean. What's more, after blow-drying, my hair's natural curls are beautifully preserved. The scent is a bit disappointing. Rather than a floral fragrance, it has more of a plum-like smell. Personally, I prefer powdery or woody scents in shampoos over fruity ones. This fresh, tangy scent isn't really my cup of tea. Ingredients: Except for the fragrance, everything looks good! As someone with sensitive scalp and skin conditions, I didn't find it irritating. It's nice to find a non-irritating shampoo, as many on the market can be harsh. I also appreciated that it's vegan. 2. Cleansing effectiveness: While the lather wasn't great (possibly due to my oily hair), it didn't leave my scalp feeling greasy. For a vegan, gentle shampoo, it did a decent job controlling oil. There was no residue on my scalp, and the washing experience was pleasant overall. 3. Packaging & Scent: The purple color is beautiful. Though it's not a pump bottle, which might be inconvenient when there's little product left, I'm considering transferring it to a different container. The scent is a sweet, non-overpowering aroma, reminiscent of bubblegum, that lingers subtly after washing. 4. Price: After checking on Hwahae Shopping, I saw it's 48,000 won. For a 350ml shampoo, that's around $50, which seems a bit steep. As mentioned earlier, the main downsides are the slight oil build-up on the hair and the price.

It's soft and pleasantly fragrant. The consistency is nice, and it lathers up really well when you wet your hair thoroughly. As for cleansing effectiveness... I have an oily scalp, and looking at it over a 24-hour period, I'd say it performs about average compared to other brands I've tried. Maybe it's because I have sensitive skin, but I keep getting blemishes on my scalp. I thought it might be my imagination, but it seems this product just doesn't agree with me. I stopped using it after about four uses. Also, after drying my hair, it feels stiff, so you might need to use a conditioner. Texture It has a transparent consistency with a slight viscosity, not too runny. It's just right - not too thick which would make it hard to lather and rinse thoroughly. 2. Cleansing effectiveness I naturally have a dry scalp that doesn't produce much oil even after 24 hours. Sometimes with weaker shampoos, I feel a bit of buildup after a day. However, this shampoo's cleansing power is so good that even after 24 hours, there's barely any oily feeling. 3. Hair texture My hair was quite damaged at the ends after getting a perm, but after using this shampoo, I noticed that the curls I styled while drying my hair seemed to hold better than usual. It's disappointing that the container is opaque, making it impossible to see how much product is left.

It gets extremely dry, causing my scalp to go crazy during seasonal changes. ✓ Lather I didn't feel like it produced a lot of foam initially, but it lathers up more with the second wash! It seems to vary depending on the situation. If you use it, I recommend it for the second shampoo. ✓ Cleansing effectiveness I loved how it cleansed gently without drying out my scalp, leaving a subtle cherry scent. The fragrance is absolutely divine! ✓ Volume The size is just right! It's neither too big nor too small, making it cute to keep in the bathroom and convenient to use. ✓ Recommended skin type As the product leaves a fairly moisturizing finish, I think it would be great for those with dry skin!! I recommend it for people whose scalps get flaky in autumn/winter. ✓ Fragrance longevity The scent doesn't seem to last very long! To test its effectiveness, I alternated between using a regular shampoo and Curly Wavy every other day. I noticed that when using Curly Wavy, my curls remained bouncy and defined, unlike with the regular shampoo. For best results, I think it's better to apply essence and let your hair air dry naturally rather than blow-drying extensively. This way, you can truly experience the shampoo's benefits. I also loved the fragrance, and it didn't cause any tingling or irritation on my scalp, which was great. Like some others have mentioned, I did notice a few small blemishes appearing on my scalp. However, since I haven't used it long-term, I'm not sure if they were caused by Curly Wavy or something else. If you have super sensitive skin on your scalp, it might be a good idea to carefully check the ingredients before using. I left the shampoo on for a longer time during washing, and followed up with a treatment to make my hair soft. After washing, I recommend minimally drying just the scalp area and letting the rest air dry naturally to maintain the curls well. I used a regular hair oil, but for those who want to enhance their curls even more, I'd suggest using a curling essence! I definitely recommend this for anyone who's concerned about their perm losing its shape. Among wavy types, my hair has strong curls, resulting in a mix between hippie and beach waves. The photos show my hair six months ago after bleaching and now. I'll review in order of what I found most beneficial. # Cleansing effectiveness: First off, the cleansing power was excellent. I naturally have oily hair, so when I wash in the morning, oil usually builds up on my bangs and sides by evening. With this shampoo, not only is the immediate cleansing good, but the clean feeling lasts longer, which is a great advantage. # Effects: Does it enhance curls? It's hard to describe precisely, but wavy hair can be challenging to dry. If not careful, it can easily become frizzy and flyaway, turning you into Hagrid. Even on windy days, my hair was less frizzy and more manageable than usual. While the difference might be subtle for some, those with strong curls will notice how much more put-together their hair looks. # Texture: The shampoo has a transparent, gel-like texture similar to aloe vera gel. Unlike typical pump shampoos that are very runny, this product has a thicker, more stable consistency that doesn't easily drip when squeezed out. # Lather: Perhaps due to its texture, the shampoo creates a rich, stable lather that doesn't run off, giving a more thorough cleansing sensation. # Scent: While many people enjoy the fragrance, it seems to be a matter of personal preference. My family liked it, but to me, it had a strong artificial cherry scent mixed with coconut, reminiscent of candy or a sweet-scented candle. In summary, it smelled like cherry candy fabric softener to me. However, like the shampoo's effects, the scent is long-lasting, so I'd recommend it to those who enjoy the fragrance. # Packaging: Being used to pump bottles and having hair that requires a lot of shampoo, I found it difficult to control the amount dispensed. The squeeze bottle design means you have to keep opening the cap, which is a bit inconvenient. # Price!!!!!!!!: Considering the effects and quantity of the shampoo, the price seems quite high. Since I found the scent a bit uncomfortable, I used it with a hair mist. P.S. I used Yves Saint Laurent - Libre hair mist.

But with the Hairburst shampoo, the curls definitely hold better and feel more bouncy. I highly recommend it for permed hair! While it's great at maintaining curls, there's a slight stiffness to the hair. However, it's not a big issue if you use conditioner or treatment after shampooing. For an easy and beautiful perm styling, try applying curl cream after using the Hairburst shampoo.
