As someone with sensitive scalp/skin issues, it wasn't irritating - there are a lot of irritating shampoos on the market, so one that's not irritating is good. The fact that it's vegan is also a plus. 2. Cleansing Power: Hmm, first of all, the lather didn't come out very well for me. Since I have a lot of oil in my hair, it tends to get weighed down, so even though I tried hard to work up the lather, it just didn't come out that well. So I used a bit more than I normally would. Compared to other products, the oil didn't build up as much, but it did still come back a bit. But it was still better than other products. 3. Packaging & Fragrance: The purple color is just so pretty and nice. However, it's not a pump type, but a squeeze type, and the plastic is thicker than expected. To test its effectiveness, I alternately used regular shampoo and the Curly Wavy shampoo, and my curls definitely stayed more bouncy and defined when I used the Curly Wavy shampoo compared to the regular one. If you air-dry your hair after applying the essence, rather than over-drying it, you'll be able to fully experience the shampoo's benefits. The scent was also pleasant, and my hair didn't feel irritated or uncomfortable.
ConsLike others have mentioned, I also developed a few small pimples on my scalp, but since I haven't used it long-term, I'm not sure if it was caused by the Curly Wavy shampoo or for other reasons.
