The product immediately caught my eye and piqued my interest just from the name alone, as I have naturally curly hair.
The scent was strong but not overpowering, and the jelly-like texture was just right, not too soft.
Overall, I really liked it.

It's good, but the price seems a bit burdensome to purchase regularly. At 60,000 won for the shampoo, that's quite expensive.
I also think a pump dispenser would have been more convenient.

I have naturally curly hair and I recently used this product a little over a year after my last perm. I was surprised to see natural waves form after drying my hair. It definitely styles better with more curl than when I use regular shampoo. 
The scent is subtle yet long-lasting, which I really enjoyed.
The formula is gentle and produces a rich, creamy lather.

🥺The scent is a bit disappointing
It's more like a plum scent rather than a floral one. Personally, I prefer powdery or woody scents over fresh, citrusy ones, so the fresh scent was a bit too much for me. Just for your reference:)

💘 No use of colorants
This shampoo came out in a transparent gel form as it did not use any colorants.

💘Excellent scalp cleansing power
When I don't wash my hair for about 2-3 days and then wash it, I usually have to shampoo twice, but the abundant lather meant the scalp cleansing power was excellent. Even after 2-3 days, one shampooing leaves my hair feeling fresh.

As mentioned earlier, the issue of oil buildup in my hair and the price point are the main downsides.

1. Ingredients: Except for one fragrance, everything else seems fine! As someone with sensitive scalp/skin issues, it wasn't irritating - there are a lot of irritating shampoos on the market, so one that's not irritating is good. The fact that it's vegan is also a plus.

2. Cleansing Power: Hmm, first of all, the lather didn't come out very well for me. Since I have a lot of oil in my hair, it tends to get weighed down, so even though I tried hard to work up the lather, it just didn't come out that well. So I used a bit more than I normally would. Compared to other products, the oil didn't build up as much, but it did still come back a bit. But it was still better than other products.

3. Packaging & Fragrance: The purple color is just so pretty and nice. However, it's not a pump type, but a squeeze type, and the plastic is thicker than expected. So when there's a lot of product, it's fine, but when there's just a little left, it might be inconvenient to use. I'm thinking of transferring it to another container. The fragrance, I'm not sure if it's cherry, but it's a sweet, non-overpowering scent, kind of like bubble gum. It lingers gently even after washing.

4. Price: As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I wasn't fully aware of the price, but when I checked on the Hwahae shopping app, it was 48,000 won. For a 350ml shampoo, that's around 50,000 won, which I do find a bit burdensome.

I think it would be good to use it along with a conditioner.

Since I have sensitive skin, I've been having continuous scalp issues.
I thought it might be my fault, but it seems the product doesn't agree with me.
I stopped using the product after about 4 uses.

The fragrance was not as artificial as I had thought, but rather soft and aromatic.
The viscosity is also good, and if you thoroughly wet your hair, the lather forms quite well.
As for the cleansing power, being a person with an oily scalp, I think it's about average compared to other brands I've tried.

It's a shame that the packaging is opaque, so it's hard to check the amount remaining.

I took my time shampooing and then followed up with a deep conditioning treatment to make my hair soft. After rinsing, I only lightly dried the scalp area and let the rest air-dry. This helped my curls stay well-defined.
I used a regular hair oil, but if you want to enhance your curls even more, I'd recommend trying a curl-enhancing essence as well!
I'd recommend this shampoo to anyone struggling with looser curls after a perm.

Like others have mentioned, I also developed a few small pimples on my scalp, but since I haven't used it long-term, I'm not sure if it was caused by the Curly Wavy shampoo or for other reasons. If you have a very sensitive scalp, it would be best to check the ingredients and use it with caution.

Although I haven't had a perm for long, my hair was a bit loose and limp. To test its effectiveness, I alternately used regular shampoo and the Curly Wavy shampoo, and my curls definitely stayed more bouncy and defined when I used the Curly Wavy shampoo compared to the regular one.
If you air-dry your hair after applying the essence, rather than over-drying it, you'll be able to fully experience the shampoo's benefits.
The scent was also pleasant, and my hair didn't feel irritated or uncomfortable.

 Since the fragrance was a bit unpleasant for me, I used the shampoo together with the Ipseong - Livre hair mist.

 # Packaging: I'm used to pump-style packaging, and since I tend to use a lot of shampoo, it was difficult to control the amount with this product. The flip-top style container requires me to open it and squeeze out the product, which is a bit inconvenient and makes me use more than I need.

# Price!!!!!!!!: Considering the effectiveness of the shampoo and the amount required, the price seems to be set quite high.

 Hair type: I have wavy hair with an oily texture. Among the wavy hair types, I have tightly curled hair with a strong curl pattern, a mix of a hippie perm and a wavy perm. The photos are from when I bleached my hair half a year ago and the current state.
I will review the product in the order of what I liked the most.

# Cleansing power: First of all, the cleansing power was excellent. I was born with an oily scalp, so in the mornings, I often have oil buildup on my bangs and sides. I can't even imagine going a day without washing my hair. This shampoo not only cleanses well immediately, but the clean feeling also lasts, which is a great advantage.

# Effectiveness: Is the curl considered a curl? It's hard to describe precisely, but wavy hair is very difficult to dry. If you're not careful, it can end up looking frizzy and blown out, making you look like Hagrid. But even on windy days, my hair felt less frizzy and maintained its shape better than usual. Of course, the difference may not be noticeable for most people, but for those with tight curls, the effect of keeping the hair looking more put-together was quite apparent.

# Texture: The shampoo had a transparent, gel-like, and bouncy texture, like aloe vera gel. Typical pump-style shampoos tend to be very runny and watery, but this one had a thicker, yet not overly viscous, consistency.

# Lather: Likely due to the texture, the shampoo lathered up nicely and didn't run off easily, which made the cleansing feel more effective.

# Fragrance: Many people seem to enjoy the fragrance, but it's a matter of personal preference. My family liked the scent, but to me, it had a strong artificial cherry aroma, combined with a coconut note, almost like a candy or heavily scented candle. In summary, it reminded me of a cherry-scented fabric softener. However, as with the effectiveness of the shampoo, the fragrance also has good longevity, so I would recommend it to those who enjoy the scent.

Applying a curl cream after using the Hairburst shampoo makes for an easy and stylish perm look.

While the shampoo does a great job of holding the curl, there is a slight stiffness to the hair. However, using a conditioner or treatment after shampooing resolves this issue quite well.

My hair was very stretched out from repeated perms, but after using the Hairburst shampoo, the stretching was significantly reduced and my curls felt bouncy and well-defined. I highly recommend this shampoo for permed hair.
