I used to use the Peach Moncheri BB cream, but the price range was too high, so I decided to try the Dereclairs, which is known for its great value. The color is a bit less ashy than typical BB creams, but if your skin tone is brighter than #21, it may appear a bit dark. As someone with a skin tone between #21-22, it matched me well without feeling overly luminous. The creamy texture absorbs nicely into the pores, leaving a smooth skin appearance. The coverage is medium, and it applies well with fingers, but a pore brush or damp sponge works even better. Even after extended wear, there's no issues with breakouts or cakiness, so it's a great option when your skin is in less-than-ideal condition and you don't want the heaviness of foundation.
Cons
First of all, the fragrance isn't quite my preference. It has a strange, almost middle-aged man-like scent, almost like a car air freshener. Also, on its own, the BB cream doesn't provide exceptional longevity or color-correcting abilities. It doesn't cake up or get overly greasy, but the formula seems to just disappear as oil comes through, and the tone fades significantly. I find it works better if I mix it with another illuminating base, or use a translucent powder in the summer. Compared to the Peach Moncheri BB cream, the overall feel and luxurious sensation is a bit lacking, but it's still a suitable alternative.
