ConsI used this brand regularly thinking it was just fine, but it turns out it was the reason my eyes were stinging and I felt tired every day. The staying power is also terrible. Goodbye!

As the weather's getting chilly, I prefer this over regular foundation. It's great because it doesn't settle into lines or crack, and keeps my skin moisturized.
ConsThe shade range and longevity are a bit disappointing. Still, the ingredients are good, and I think it'll work well during the winter months.

The color is less ashy compared to other BB creams, but if your skin is lighter than shade 21, it might feel a bit dark. My complexion is somewhere between 21-22, and while it didn't give me a super brightening effect, it matched well enough. The texture is nice and thick, filling in pores and making skin texture look smooth, which is a plus. It has medium coverage for blemishes and applies well with fingers, but also works great with a pore brush or damp sponge. Even after wearing it for a long time, I didn't experience any blemishes or caking, so it's good to use when your skin isn't at its best or when you don't want the heaviness and hassle of foundation.
ConsFirst off, the scent isn't really my cup of tea. It has a strange smell that's somewhat like an older man's cologne or even a car air freshener. Also, when used alone, I wasn't super impressed with its staying power or how it prevented darkening. It doesn't get terribly cakey, but as oil builds up, it feels like it's disappearing from the skin rather than holding up, and the tone drops significantly. So it's much better to mix it with another brightening moisturizer or use translucent powder in summer. Compared to Pimongche BB cream, it feels slightly less luxurious in terms of how it adheres to the skin and the overall user experience, but it could definitely serve as a suitable alternative!

I tried it because even cushions left my skin feeling dry and cakey. First off, it's incredibly hydrating with no dryness, cakiness, or heaviness at all. The beige tone covers redness perfectly without being too ashy (I usually prefer ashy tones for my redness, but this covers well without being overly gray). If you have extremely dry skin or peach fuzz and find foundations flaky over time, give this BB cream a try. I used to be skeptical of BB creams, but this one made me a believer. The hydration is insane, and mixing it with foundation takes the moisture to another level. I was shocked by how well it covers pores while feeling lightweight. It's hydrating, thin, covers redness and pores beautifully. Even when it fades, it does so gracefully without looking messy. Pro tip: decant it into an empty cushion compact for easy application. It even looks great under fluorescent lighting! Works well for my 22-23 shade skin, creating a bright complexion. Recommended if you dislike heavy products but want some color and pore coverage beyond just sunscreen. Not recommended if you prefer full coverage and a matte finish. Compared to the 'Goddess Glow' BB cream, this Dear Klairs one is more hydrating with better coverage and application. It glides on more smoothly, while the Goddess Glow has a thicker consistency. There's a color difference too - Goddess Glow is more pink-toned, while this is more beige, which seems to affect the coverage. I've repurchased! Lately, I've been applying a brightening moisturizer on top in the center of my face for an even more radiant look. Previously, I mixed it with sunscreen for UV protection, but it clogged my pores a bit. Using a dedicated brightening moisturizer gives a prettier skin finish. Comparing it to a hydrating foundation, apart from the foundation being lighter, I couldn't really tell the difference. So if you're debating between the two for longevity and skin appearance, this BB cream is a great option. It lasts well, fades beautifully, and enhances your complexion without erasing contours like some foundations do. A major plus is that it doesn't dry out even with mineral sunscreen on top, unlike foundations which can get very dry and cakey with mineral sunscreens.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it, and I'll likely repurchase when I run out. Of course, the coverage and longevity aren't as good as a foundation. There's no darkening effect. While it's hydrating and easy to touch up, it doesn't set or have strong staying power. I initially wrote that it lacks staying power, but it actually adheres better than expected. It stays put better than my usual foundation, and doesn't leave finger marks when touched. Not recommended for oily skin types as it's very hydrating. It can look a bit cakey when your skin is at its worst - that's how sensitive and dry my skin is 😭
TipFor those with dry skin, use a creamy, rich formula like this instead of runny foundations. It's more hydrating and the moisture lasts longer. Try applying a layer of this, then top with a hydrating, lightweight cushion for improved coverage, hydration, and longevity. I recommend using the Hwa Hyong brush or the Daiso puff. In summer, apply with a brush to help cover pores. In winter, definitely apply a thin layer with your fingers!

The ingredients are well-suited and don't cause any blemishes.
ConsThe color is too yellow... My skin already has a yellow undertone, but this makes it even more yellow. The staying power is just okay. It's a bit disappointing. Warm-toned folks should avoid this!

I bought it to mix with foundation, and it applies smoothly with a nice, firm texture. When used alone, it's not as dark as I expected and seems to brighten my complexion in a way that suits my skin tone.
ConsWhen used on its own, the staying power isn't particularly impressive. I was a bit disappointed to find that the product wasn't as full as I expected... Bummer!
TipTry mixing it with your foundation for best results!

I love how it doesn't feel heavy and gives a natural complexion, though the coverage is on the lighter side. Perfect for casual outings!
ConsThe staying power could be better. It's a decent choice for everyday wear.
