Pros
Here's my review after using the Heimish Black Mascara for two weeks! 1. Smudging It hardly smudges and shows enough staying power to be used even in summer. 2. Volume The volume is good, but as I mentioned in the drawbacks, it doesn't seem to coat each lash individually. Though that could be due to my application technique... haha! 3. Cleansing Despite mascara usually being the toughest to remove, this one seems to cleanse off well even without a specialized eye makeup remover.

1. Hold and Longevity I have relatively long and thick lashes! Even when I use an eyelash curler, the curl usually disappears quickly, but with this mascara, the effect lasts much longer. 2. Natural Look As a first-time mascara user, I was pleased that it didn't look artificial. Instead, it created a natural look that wasn't difficult for a beginner to achieve. 3. Easy Removal I usually do a double cleanse with cleansing oil followed by a cleansing foam. I was surprised when the cleansing oil didn't remove the mascara, but then amazed to see it disappear instantly with just lukewarm water. 4. Minimal Flaking I've often seen mascara flakes making a mess around the eyes over time, but this product thankfully has minimal flaking, with only a small amount falling off.

Texture: It's not too thick, so it applies smoothly and evenly. Even though I don't have a separate eye makeup remover, it came off cleanly with just a double cleanse using cleansing balm and foam. Even though I used a fixer, there was no smudging under the eyes. Compared to other mascaras I've used before, it came off much more easily with makeup remover or lukewarm water when cleansing. The intense black color allows for a striking eye look.
