Despite being on the affordable side, it's great for creating a clean look with longer-appearing lashes. It takes a while to dry, so you need to fan your lashes several times. Since it takes some time to dry, you'll need to fan your lashes multiple times for the best results.

It seems to stay put without smudging and lasts for a long time. Another advantage is how it defines the eyes so clearly. Perhaps due to its heavy formula, it tends to weigh down my lashes. There are no positives. This is the first mascara I've ever used where I couldn't find a single redeeming quality. It completely fails at lengthening lashes and holding curls. It only adds volume, and even that is subpar. If you try to apply a second coat, it immediately clumps and looks messy, negating any careful application. The brush is too thick, so if you try to get close to the lash roots, it smudges on your eyelids or waterline. Being on a tight budget, I forced myself to use it for a month before finally tossing it out. It's unusually difficult to find reviews from actual buyers rather than The Hwahae Testers, and I'd really like to see those genuine opinions. (The reason you can't really tell the lashes are longer in the photo is because they're curled.) Plus, it absolutely doesn't smudge even in the height of summer, and it's incredibly easy to remove! Here's what I love about this mascara: The slim tube is super convenient to carry around. Even for a beginner like me, it's easy to apply without making a mess. The brush picks up just the right amount of product. It gives a natural look, filling in gaps without being over-the-top. Despite my oily skin, it doesn't smudge at all. When removing with eye makeup remover, it comes off in clumps rather than smearing. This is great because even if you cry or rub your eyes later, it won't create raccoon eyes. It just flakes off like dust, making touch-ups a breeze. I'd say there's a 98% chance the Heimish mascara behaves the same way. While it's not the most expensive product out there, it would be nice if it could go under $10 when on sale. The left shows my lashes before application, and the right shows after.

However, my long and thick eyelashes always smudged and clumped. The Heimish Smudge Stop Mascara thinly coats each lash, lifting them up, and there's almost no smudging on the eyelids or under the eyes. It's amazing that it washes off with just warm water, no eye makeup remover needed! I highly recommend this for those with super sensitive skin! As for the curling effect, I can't really tell since I always get a lash lift before using mascara, but it applies cleanly. After applying two coats, the staying power is absolutely fantastic! A friend who doesn't have a lash lift tried it and said the curling effect isn't very strong. Smudging It hardly smudges and shows enough staying power to be used even in summer. 2. Volume The volume is good, but as I mentioned in the drawbacks, it doesn't seem to coat each lash individually. Though that could be due to my application technique... haha! 3. Cleansing Despite mascara usually being the toughest to remove, this one seems to cleanse off well even without a specialized eye makeup remover. There's a tiny bit of clumping, I'd say. Since I prefer very natural-looking mascaras, I usually go for ones that look like you're not wearing any. This mascara, however, does give a noticeable 'mascara' look when applied. It has its own strengths though, so I'd recommend considering what kind of mascara look you prefer before purchasing!
