As someone with oily-leaning skin, I've been using this product for over 8 years. I love its unscented formula, gentle nature, and just-right hydration. I plan to keep using it indefinitely. I tried this as a hydration aid while getting treatment for palm irritation. It seems to have a calming effect, and as I have dry skin, it's nicely moisturizing for spring. Great for frequent application. The hydration power is fantastic, making it perfect for dry skin types! It's especially great for winter use, though in summer it might feel a bit heavy unless you have extremely dry skin. While some people might not recommend this product due to its scent, I'd like to share my honest opinion. I usually dislike products with added fragrances or artificial scents, but this one is practically unscented - it doesn't bother my nose at all! The hydration lasts for a long time. It moisturizes all my dry areas like elbows, calves, and heels beautifully. I've already finished a large bottle during winter, and I'm so grateful for it. For me, this product has ended my search for the perfect body emulsion. This isn't really a downside, more of a wish: I know it's unavoidable in cosmetics, but I think it would have been perfect if they were an eco-friendly company using something other than plastic packaging. It's so moisturizing! As expected from Cetaphil. I think it would be great for those with dry skin. I'm not sure if this new emulsion with slightly different ingredients is better than the existing one. When I get samples, I use them as hand cream in winter. It's really moisturizing! I wish Cetaphil would just update their packaging across the board. - yh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 25, 2023

The hydration is great and it seems like you get a lot of product. I'm really enjoying using it. It feels a bit too sticky? But it's not overly bothersome. Also, the scent is a bit odd - it smells somewhat like saliva.

It doesn't feel sticky or thick, but you can definitely sense more richness. As the container suggests (very dry skin), I'd recommend this for dry or extremely dry skin types. It's fragrance-free, so it's not overwhelming, and it absorbs well. Despite being unscented, there's a slight plastic-like ointment smell. Other than that, I have no complaints. I mainly apply this to my feet and wear sleep socks. The next day, I wake up to amazingly soft feet.
