<<A review from The Hwahae Testers!>> My skin type is combination dehydrated skin, which might be helpful to know! After using it for two weeks, I'm overall satisfied with this product! The value for money is excellent, making it a great gift option too. 👍 Generous amount of essence There's a really generous amount of essence, which gives a nice moisturizing feeling when applied! 👍 Patches don't slide off despite being thick Even though the patches are thick, they didn't slide off for me. Some people say they slide, but mine stayed put well. 👍 Moisturizing After removing the patches, the under-eye area feels nicely hydrated! It gives a pampered feeling, and it's not sticky at all. Overall, it seems like a product that would be beneficial with consistent use. Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes after use, which was great! Hmm, there wasn't really anything negative to mention! If I had to say something, I'd say that using your fingers to pick up the patches works better than the tweezers provided. The patches are quite slippery! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 7, 2023
When you remove the patches after some time, you can visibly see they've become thinner. It feels like the area under the patch is moisturized from deep within. Even when applied close to the under-eye area, there's no irritation. The product itself is great, but due to the drawbacks mentioned below, I'm hesitant to purchase it again. Instead of tweezers, it comes with a spatula, which is inconvenient. They recommend applying it to dry skin, but it's awkward to apply emulsion to the rest of the face. If you apply even a toner before using the patch, it tends to slide down a bit. It's easier to use if you peel off the eye patch, place it roughly, and then use your fingers to gently push it up into position. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 6, 2023
Appearance and Packaging: I loved the clean design! Unlike other patches that often look outdated, this product's appearance was refreshing. The inclusion of a separate spatula and lid was a great touch. Scent: There's a slight 'old-school cosmetic' scent, but it's not noticeable when applied. It didn't bother me much, but those with super sensitive skin might want to take note. Texture: The patches have a moderate thickness - not too thin. The essence inside has a light consistency, similar to a runny toner. It absorbs quickly without leaving residue, leaving your skin feeling hydrated and fresh. Hydration: While I didn't notice dramatic wrinkle improvement or intense moisturization, the eye area definitely felt more hydrated after use. I suspect this consistent hydration could help prevent wrinkles naturally. The generous amount of essence in the container should keep the pads moist for a long time. Extra Notes: I was worried about the pearl finish transferring, but I didn't notice any shimmer left on my face. Why I deducted one star: 1. Slipping: The patches, despite their thickness and ample essence, tend to slide down too easily. I was hoping they'd stay put on the eye area, but they move even without shaking my head, which was a bit inconvenient. 2. Included Spatula: The patches are quite slippery and hard to pick up. The spatula, instead of tweezers, made it even more challenging to grab them. It seems like a mismatch. 3. Patch Direction: First-time users might find it confusing which way to apply the patches. I initially put them on backwards until I checked reviews and realized they should be reversed to fit the eye shape properly. 4. Effectiveness: While it does hydrate the eye area, I'm not sure if the benefits alone justify continued purchase. If I weren't part of The Hwahae Testers and had to buy it myself, I'm not certain I would. When applying the patches to your eyes, make sure the 'wing' part (with two circles) is towards the outer corner of your eye. For smile lines, position the wing towards your nose. Storing these in the refrigerator could be great for soothing heated skin in the summer months. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
First off, true to its collagen name, it has an incredibly soft and bouncy texture. It feels a bit sticky to the touch, as if there's serum on it, but amazingly, when you apply it, that area becomes moisturized. I liked how it hydrated without feeling oily. Surprisingly, even though it looks like it might fall off easily, it stays put well, allowing for normal daily activities. Patches are definitely convenient! I have pretty severe dark circles, and this provides a temporary brightening effect around the eyes. As for wrinkles, I'll need to use up the whole container to see any improvement. Despite having super sensitive skin, I experienced no redness or itching at all. Regarding the scent, while many people dislike it, I personally didn't find it objectionable. It's like a strong 'mom skincare' fragrance? I think it'll be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing. I first wondered about the purpose of adding gold to an anti-wrinkle product. When you open it, there's a dazzling sparkle, but after applying and removing it, there seems to be a subtle shimmer left on the face. I put it on after my nighttime skincare routine, but the lingering gold felt unnecessary. Also, it's challenging to pick up each patch with the spatula! The slippery, bouncy texture makes it hard to grab. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2023
The thick, jelly-like texture felt cool and refreshing when applied under my eyes. As someone who isn't particularly sensitive to fragrances, I found the scent quite pleasant. After use, I could definitely feel a plumping effect, with hydration being absorbed from deep within, which was very satisfying. Even after removing the patches, instead of feeling dry, my skin felt moisturized with a perfect balance of oil coating to lock in the hydration. This was great! I typically use these as part of my routine: after cleansing, I apply a toner pack (or exfoliating toner), followed by serum, then these eye patches, and finish with a sleeping pack on the rest of my face. If I had to nitpick, the product is so slippery that it's difficult to scoop out with the provided spoon. When trying to take just one patch, several stick together, and they're so slick that they keep slipping away just as you think you've got a hold of them. It can be a bit frustrating. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
The shape of these eye patches is better than others, making them easy to apply around the eyes and nose. The gel texture isn't sticky, which I personally find very satisfying. I usually dislike tacky cosmetics, but this product doesn't have that feeling at all. It adheres well to the skin without any discomfort. Surprisingly, it feels cool even without refrigeration, lowering skin temperature for a refreshing effect. There's no noticeable scent, which is great for those who prefer fragrance-free products. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness, it seems to add hydration around the eyes and mouth. Plus, as someone with acne-prone skin, I didn't experience any blemishes while using this. One downside is that tweezers might be better for picking up the patches than the included tool. The patches are a bit slippery, so tweezers could provide a better grip. Also, if you misplace a patch and try to reapply it, it doesn't adhere as well. Other than that, I'm satisfied. Try storing them in the refrigerator for an extra cooling effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
Experience This was my first time trying eye patches, and I must say, the cooling effect was amazing! The eye area tends to dry out easily due to thin sebaceous glands, and now that I'm in my 30s, I felt that eye cream alone wasn't enough. Applying these patches to my eye area made it feel so much more hydrated, which I loved. Texture You know those face masks with a thicker silicone-like texture? Think of these as a miniature version of those. The patch has a delightfully bouncy and elastic feel! Effectiveness I have pretty severe dark circles, but the cooling effect seemed to brighten up my eye area a bit by reducing the temperature. My eye area feels wonderfully moisturized to the touch! With collagen as an ingredient, I think using these regularly could lead to even better results. I tried these with my mom, and she absolutely loved them too! Due to the thicker texture, I found that if you apply these after using eye cream, they tend to slip down, which was a bit inconvenient. However, they stay put when lying down, so they'd be perfect to use before bed. I noticed that the patches get thinner as you wear them. Instead of just putting them on for a short time, I found that leaving them on until they thin out made my skin feel even more hydrated! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 6, 2023
Wow... why did I only discover this now? This is a truly honest review. Before using eye patches, I was skeptical about the effectiveness of such products and avoided them. But after seeing the results of collagen cosmetics, I decided to try the SNP Gold Collagen Eye Patches... The collagen essence is richly packed, and my dry, wrinkle-prone eye area became moisturized. When I smile, fine lines around my eyes usually become more noticeable, but these patches helped with that and even reduced the dark circles under my eyes. Once I finish this pack, I'll definitely want to purchase it again. When I really like a cosmetic product, I tend to repurchase it for years, and I think these eye patches will be one of those products. I didn't experience any blemishes, and the product is gentle, so I have no complaints about its quality. However, I think tweezers would be more convenient to use than the spatula provided. Even when picking up the patches with fingers, they're quite slippery due to the rich collagen content. I've found that applying a hydrating mask over the eye patches seems to make them last longer and work even better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
My skin is extremely dry and prone to dehydration, causing severe millet rash lately, which has been incredibly stressful. In the evening, after completing my skincare routine, I apply this around my eyes and nasolabial folds. Even after 30 minutes, it doesn't dry out, keeping my skin cool and hydrated, which lowers my skin temperature and improves my mood! It suits my skin well without any sensitivity issues. I don't use it daily, but 2-3 times a week seems ideal. There's a scent, but it's not overpowering. It's so slippery that it doesn't stick to the spatula, so I had to use my fingers to apply it. When using a sheet mask, applying an eye patch underneath helps the hydration last even longer. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2023
■ Outer Design When I first opened it, I thought 'What's this?' because it was translucent and hard to see. But upon closer inspection, I noticed a subtle gold pearl effect that gives it an elegant and beautiful look. ■ Application The overall experience of using it is quite decent without any major issues. After removing the mask, there's a noticeable increase in hydration. □ Mask Shape At first glance, the crescent shape seems to fit the eyes well, but maybe my eyes are too straight? It's like using an eyelash curler meant for non-Asian eyes - it's too curved in the middle, making it difficult to apply. For me, the center didn't adhere well, while the edges touched my eyes. I wanted to focus on my aegyo-sal (under-eye puff) area... □ Usage Drawbacks The mask feels too thick and slippery when applying. It would be more comfortable if it were thinner. Although it's supposed to thin out during use, it doesn't get that thin. I think it could be made thinner from the start. □ Packaging (Seal) I'm not sure if mine was defective, but I had to travel with it and took the whole container. It didn't leak on the way there, but on the return trip, even though the outer lid seemed closed, the inner lid must have been loose. The essence leaked everywhere, soaking my bag and emptying the container... I wonder if it'll dry out soon... sigh. I liked putting it on my eyelids before bed as it felt nourishing, but like other masks, if left on until it dries, it seemed to draw out my skin's moisture. Closing my eyes made me sleepy. You could set an alarm to remove it before sleeping, or ask someone to take it off for you... if possible.
