The main advantage seems to be the ability to focus on treating just the under-eye area. When you use a full-face mask, your movement is restricted and it's more cumbersome than treating specific areas. This product is convenient and easy to use since you can apply it only where needed. The texture is plump and bouncy, and the scent is subtle rather than overpowering, so I didn't feel any aversion while using it. The texture isn't particularly easy to apply directly with your fingers. First-time users might need some time to develop a technique using a combination of the included spatula and their hands. I found it a bit challenging when first applying it. After using it a few times, you'll get the hang of it and become more familiar with the process. Not only do I use it before bed, but I also apply it under my eyes before going out and putting on makeup. It seems to help maintain hydration under the eyes even after applying makeup. Since the skin under my eyes is thin and prone to dryness, it needs extra care, so I try to use it before makeup whenever possible. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2023
As I approached my late 20s, I realized it was time to start taking care of those pesky eye wrinkles. After only using eye creams, this was my first time trying eye patches. I was amazed at how the initially plump, hydrated patches would thin out after 30-40 minutes of wear. It made me wonder if that meant all the good stuff was being absorbed into my skin. However, as a Hwahae Tester, I haven't used them long enough to see any dramatic effects yet. On the plus side, the scent is lovely, and the gold glitter-like particles are quite pretty! 1. The product felt more focused on hydration than oil control. After removing the patches after 30-40 minutes, my skin felt slightly dry, so using an eye cream afterwards seems necessary. 2. While not overly irritating, I did experience a slight burning or tingling sensation around my eyes. 3. I didn't feel like this product had any extraordinary benefits or that it was a must-have item. Although I still have plenty left and will continue to use them, I probably won't repurchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2023
I liked that the scent wasn't too strong, and the pads have a slippery texture like collagen. It's great that it comes with a built-in stick. I keep them in the fridge to use them cool! After cleansing, applying my skincare routine, and moisturizer, it feels amazing to lie down with these cool pads on for a while. I used it well initially, but after exfoliating with Skinfood and trying to soothe my skin with a modeling mask and my usual skincare products, I thought I had calmed my skin enough. However, as soon as I put the eye pads on, that area felt extremely hot. I removed them after just 3 minutes, but my skin was already irritated in the shape of the eye pads. I was too scared to use them again and struggled to soothe my already thin and sensitive under-eye skin. I absolutely do not recommend using these after exfoliation! Especially if you have sensitive skin, avoid them at all costs. When I was using them successfully at first, I noticed something interesting. After removing the pads from my eye area, I saw that the sebum in my T-zone, which was usually quite noticeable and dark, had become much lighter in color. I was so surprised that I tried it on my nose next, and the same thing happened - the dark sebum became almost invisible. This was unusual because even sheet masks didn't have this effect. The sebum gradually darkened again the next day, but this unique effect was truly remarkable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2023
I've been using this for about 2 weeks, sharing it with my mom. The patches themselves are plump and moist like collagen, which feels great when applied to the face. Initially, there's a pleasant cooling sensation. The absorption is excellent - after removing the patch, there's no sticky residue or heavy feeling. The essence absorbs quickly with just a few pats. The scent is subtle and familiar, reminiscent of my mom's skincare products, but not overpowering at all. Importantly, I experienced no blemishes, which is always a concern with new products. The jar contains a generous amount of essence, preventing the patches from drying out quickly during application. After wearing the patch for a while, I felt a slight burning sensation in the applied area. Although I didn't experience any redness or blemishes as mentioned earlier, this warmth beyond the initial cooling effect was a bit concerning. I'm not sure why this happened - my mom didn't have the same experience when she used it, so it might vary from person to person. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2023
The thick, jelly-like texture felt cool and refreshing when applied under my eyes. As someone who isn't particularly sensitive to fragrances, I found the scent quite pleasant. After use, I could definitely feel a plumping effect, with hydration being absorbed from deep within, which was very satisfying. Even after removing the patches, instead of feeling dry, my skin felt moisturized with a perfect balance of oil coating to lock in the hydration. This was great! I typically use these as part of my routine: after cleansing, I apply a toner pack (or exfoliating toner), followed by serum, then these eye patches, and finish with a sleeping pack on the rest of my face. If I had to nitpick, the product is so slippery that it's difficult to scoop out with the provided spoon. When trying to take just one patch, several stick together, and they're so slick that they keep slipping away just as you think you've got a hold of them. It can be a bit frustrating. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
First off, I appreciate that the ingredients aren't harmful. As someone with super sensitive skin, ingredients are my top priority, and I'm relieved that this didn't cause any blemishes - that's a huge plus for me. When I first tried it, I immediately noticed the scent. It's pleasantly neutral, which is great. Many cosmetics have overpowering fragrances, but this one doesn't, which I really like. The texture is fantastic! It's probably due to the collagen, but it adheres to the skin perfectly. There's also a generous amount of essence, making it incredibly hydrating. When you first apply it, if you use too much essence it might drip a bit, but with the right amount, it stays put and feels so moisturizing that your skin feels like it can breathe. After removing the mask, there's no deep dryness, it has a cooling effect, and my skin feels more supple. It's become my go-to nightly routine! The only thing I wish could be improved is the packaging. It would be great if it came with tweezers. It's a bit tricky to pick up the eye patches. Other than that, I have no complaints! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
I really liked the ingredient composition. It focuses on the main concerns for the eye area like freckles, dark spots, and fine lines. The eye patches contain just the right amount of essence - not so much that it drips into your eyes causing irritation, but not so little that it feels dry. There's plenty to keep the skin nicely hydrated. The scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering. While everyone's eye shape and size are different, these fit mine well. The texture is neither too rich nor too watery, making it perfect for those who want light eye care. They adhere well to the eye area but tend to slide down slightly when sitting or standing. It's best to use them while lying down. However, I wouldn't consider this a major drawback. There's an inner lid, so if you flip the container upside down before opening, the essence distributes evenly, allowing for a more hydrating application without spills. I've tried using tweezers before, but they sometimes tear the patches. I prefer the built-in spatula that comes with this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
My skin is extremely dry and prone to dehydration, causing severe millet rash lately, which has been incredibly stressful. In the evening, after completing my skincare routine, I apply this around my eyes and nasolabial folds. Even after 30 minutes, it doesn't dry out, keeping my skin cool and hydrated, which lowers my skin temperature and improves my mood! It suits my skin well without any sensitivity issues. I don't use it daily, but 2-3 times a week seems ideal. There's a scent, but it's not overpowering. It's so slippery that it doesn't stick to the spatula, so I had to use my fingers to apply it. When using a sheet mask, applying an eye patch underneath helps the hydration last even longer. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMar 6, 2023
Hello there! This is a review from a Hwahae Tester. Skin type: Super sensitive combination dehydrated skin Patch: Thick gel patch - It thins out after 20 minutes of wear! One side is pointed, great for targeting specific areas, while the other side has two rounded peaks. Scent: Slightly similar to Lancôme cosmetics, but not as strong, which I like! Overall experience and benefits: I've tried similar products before, but this SNP Gold Collagen Eye Patch covers a wider area thanks to its unique shape with two rounded peaks. It even fits perfectly on smile lines! After wearing for 20-30 minutes, wrinkles seem to soften slightly, and dark circles appear a bit brighter. The packaging is excellent! Unlike previous products where the cap and spatula were right under the lid, this one has an extra aluminum cover for double protection. The cap and spatula are separately wrapped in plastic. It doesn't slip off your fingers when you first open it, which is great! Drawbacks: The wrinkle improvement and slight brightening effects are only noticeable immediately after use... For real improvement, you'd probably need to use it daily for several weeks. When I tried placing it very close to my eyes, it stung a bit, possibly due to the essence. The patch area also tingles initially, but this sensation lessens over time - I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. (As someone with sensitive skin, I did get a few blemishes, though my period was also approaching!) When sitting up, the patches tend to slide down a bit due to their weight. I tried to massage them with a roller for better absorption, but the gel texture made them stick to the roller, so that didn't work out. Overall impression: This might work better for those with very dry skin or lots of fine lines, rather than those with sensitive skin like me. It can be used under the eyes and on smile lines. Best used while lying down! If you fall asleep with them on, they'll be thin and stuck to your skin like dried bonito flakes by morning... be careful! As with all wrinkle-improving and brightening products, it seems you need to use them for at least a month to see real results! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 5, 2023
I don't usually use mask products because they're a hassle, but I really liked this one because you can selectively apply it to areas you want to care for, like around the eyes, smile lines, neck wrinkles, or forehead lines. It's great that you can stick it on and comfortably do other activities. I also appreciated that it came with a spoon in the package. Scent: I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so I didn't experience any discomfort due to the scent while using it. Texture and application: It's super hydrating and the texture feels really bouncy and alive! It adheres well to the face, so you don't have to worry about it falling off while you're doing other things. (The neck area didn't stick as well as the face though.) Even after wearing it for a while, the facial patches remained firm, and when I took them off, my skin wasn't dry but felt moisturized. The areas where I applied the patches were noticeably more hydrated. There weren't any major disappointments or negative aspects. Since this is a spot treatment product, it might be a bit annoying to have to apply skincare products to the rest of your face while wearing the patches. Oh, and I thought tweezers might work better than the spoon, but then again, the patches might be too slippery to grip with tweezers.
