  Pros

  Lately, I've been indulging in toner packs and creams, perhaps over-nourishing my skin. I decided to buy this product because of a small blemish that appeared on my forehead. First off, it's an essence with a slightly viscous, flowing texture that doesn't cause any deep dryness when applied and leaves the skin feeling hydrated. It seems to be effective in improving dead skin cells! After a week of use, my skin definitely feels smoother.

  Cons

  With its lightweight, non-sticky formula, it's great for summer use. For those with dry skin, using it alone might be challenging, and you may need to layer another cream on top. On the flip side, I probably won't reach for it much during the winter months.

  Tip

  After applying Dr.G Red Blemish Clear Soothing Cream, follow up with Real Barrier Essence for hydrated skin without any deep dryness. Depending on the situation, if I feel any dryness, I'll add a thin layer of Physiogel Facial Cream on top.

  Pros

  The value for money is incredible! You get over 100ml of essence, which is a real bargain. I'm using it alongside the toner, and the synergy between them is fantastic. While the toner exfoliates, the essence seems to further smooth out dead skin cells and provide hydration, leaving my skin feeling wonderfully moisturized. I usually prefer dropper bottles, but the pump dispenser is actually quite convenient. It offers a lovely hydrating effect without feeling sticky.

  Cons

  It's a bit disappointing that you can't see how much product is left in the bottle. Also, the packaging might be difficult to recycle, which is a shame.

  ******The Hwahae Testers Review****** 1. Great for managing dead skin cells :) Managing dead skin cells and excess sebum is crucial for healthy skin care! After using it for about a week, I felt that Real Barrier Pore Clearing Essence helped remove dead skin cells and sebum without irritation, making my skin texture smoother! It definitely seemed to make a difference in how my makeup sat on my skin, haha. 2. Absorbs well :) Maybe it's because it's winter and very dry, but the essence had great absorption. After quickly sinking into the skin, it gave a feeling of hydration that felt like it was strengthening my skin barrier! I looked it up, and apparently one of the ingredients, glyceryl glucoside, helps increase moisture retention. 3. No blemishes :) After using it morning and night for about a week, I didn't experience any blemishes, probably due to the gentle ingredients! There's almost no scent, so I didn't have any issues using it. This product seems to be an essence that's easy to use with the added benefit of managing dead skin cells. I'm so happy to have found an essence I like that allows for both dead skin cell management and hydration, which are essential in winter!

  Cons

  Even though I have combination skin, I often feel dryness in winter, probably due to my office environment. I didn't notice it right after application, but as time passed, I felt a slight dryness. That part was a tiny bit disappointing.

  Tip

  While it's a great essence, if you often feel dryness in winter, make sure to apply a super hydrating moisturizer generously. This way, you can maintain hydrated skin even in winter with the Pore Clearing Essence managing dead skin cells and the moisturizer providing hydration. Personally, I recommend the combination of Real Barrier Pore Clearing Essence and Real Barrier Extreme Cream.
