1. Texture Very nice, not sticky at all 2. Amount The amount is generous 3. Has moisture, no oiliness It feels oily when applied, but absorption is extremely fast. After full absorption, it becomes powdery soft. Perfect for oily skin 4. No irritation Leaves no residue on the skin The main benefit is that when I apply this and then do my makeup, it seems to control oil by about 5%. It would be great to use this in the summer for oily skin.
Cons
You need to pump it about 7 times to get the full amount (one dropper of the serum is equivalent to 4-5 pumps of this ampoule) The amount dispensed per pump is relatively less compared to the dropper.

Pros
It's great for moisturizing and pore management after using a clay mask or blackhead remover! The texture is just right, not too watery or thick, and has an essence-like consistency that glides on smoothly. It definitely helps with pore management more than just using aloe gel or cream alone!! I'm really looking forward to using it more consistently.
Cons
However, the T-zone area is quite oily, while the cheeks are dry, so applying it all over the face in the winter made my cheeks feel a bit dry. But applying it just to the T-zone area still helps with oil and moisture balance.
Tip
For those with dry skin, just apply it to the areas that need oil and moisture management, not the whole face.

After using it for about a week, it seemed like the Real Barrier Pore Minimizing Essence helped remove dead skin and sebum without irritation, making my skin texture smoother! It felt like my makeup applied much better. 2. Good absorption :) Even though it's winter and my skin is quite dry, the essence absorbed quickly into my skin after application. It felt like it was strengthening my skin barrier and replenishing moisture! Apparently, one of the ingredients, glyceryl glucoside, helps improve moisture retention. 3. No breakouts :) After using it morning and night for about a week, I didn't experience any breakouts~!! The fragrance is also almost non-existent, so there was no aversion to using it. This seems like a solid essence that's great for managing dead skin. Since it can handle both dead skin removal and moisture replenishment at the same time, I'm really happy to have found an essence I like so much this winter ><

This product seems to have a minimal effect, but the more I look at it, the more it seems like a magical item. The concept seems to be just another basic function of various mild exfoliating ingredients that care for the pores and prevent clogging, but *not clogging the pores* brings about an incredible result..! Not having pores clogged by dead skin cells allows for smooth waste discharge → less sebum buildup → the sebum that does build up gets easily washed away during cleansing → overall reduced sebum production leads to fewer blackheads This creates a positive feedback loop👍🏻 Besides the visible large flakes, the microscopic dead skin cells that are barely noticeable are a pain to manage even after makeup application🥲.. You can't do anything about them, and it's hard to tell if the exfoliation was effective later on. This product tames those sneaky little guys that clog the pores without showing, so the sebum gets managed, and the pores become less visible, making the skin look clearer. It may not seem like much, but this is the first product I've tried that provides just the right amount of this cascading effect. This essence doesn't provide an immediate, powerful, and temporary effect like instantly smoothing out the skin, tightening the pores, or heavily hydrating. But it resolves the root issue fairly quickly, and it's great for consistent, fuss-free use. I used the Waterlock Essence for about a week when my skin was heavily oily and plagued with blackheads, and I saw very satisfactory results😊 Many pore-focused products I've tried in the past were just drying without much effect, but I'll definitely repurchase this one when I run out!!

⚡️Review Addition: Ended up buying it!! I've been using it for almost 3 weeks, and the texture of my skin is completely different when I put on makeup. Texture It has a slightly viscous, runny texture. Even if you put it on the back of your hand, the product doesn't drip down. It doesn't sting the eyes when applying. 2. Fragrance It's almost fragrance-free? 3. Absorption Good absorption. At first, it feels a bit like it's sitting on top of the skin, but after about 5 minutes, when you touch the area, it becomes so soft and smooth. 4. Moisturizing For oily skin types, the moisturizing seems sufficient, but for dry skin types, you'll need to layer a richer cream on top to maintain the hydration! 5. I applied the RealBarrier products in various ways and was satisfied, so I applied to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. This was the first time I used the product. 🍓Gentleness Since my skin is quite sensitive, I applied the product only a little at first as it contains exfoliating ingredients. Even though my skin condition was not good due to the seasonal change, it did not feel irritating because it is gentle. I also liked that it does not contain artificial fragrances. 🍓Moisturizing It controls sebum but is still moisturizing.
