It's like the cozy smell you encounter at a traditional medicine clinic. As a first-step cleanser, the oil alone effectively removes sunscreen. However, I always do a double cleanse when washing off sunscreen, just to be extra thorough. Keep that in mind!
ConsThe downside might be the scent. While I absolutely love the herbal medicine-like fragrance, those who aren't fond of such aromas might find it disappointing.
TipWhile the cleansing oil itself is important, I believe the emulsification process is crucial. After massaging the oil, I wet my hands and gently massage my entire face as if I'm giving it a treatment. I repeat this process about three times! This seems to ensure no residue is left behind and gives better results.

I can't pinpoint the exact fragrance, but it's not bothersome at all. As someone with dry skin, I usually find my skin gets extremely dry (to the point where makeup flakes) in winter when using M** cleansing oil. However, with the Axis-Y cleansing oil, I loved that it left my skin feeling moisturized even after emulsification.
ConsI apply sunscreen up to my neck, so I use cleansing oil there too. During the first few days of use, I experienced some blemishes on both my face and neck. Now that my skin has adjusted, I no longer get any breakouts.

During this process, I give it a bit more massaging and finish up with a cleansing foam. Scent: The fragrance might be polarizing, but I didn't find it unpleasant! Effectiveness: While I haven't tried it with heavy makeup, it seems to work well for everyday use. Since it's an oil type and requires double cleansing anyway, I think even if it's slightly lacking, the second cleanse can take care of any remaining residue.
ConsSo far, I haven't found any major drawbacks. If I had to pick something, maybe the scent? It's not that I dislike it, but it's not exactly pleasant either.

It's very lightweight. Compared to the Manyo Factory cleansing oil I've been using recently, this one is incredibly light. ✅ The color has a slight yellow tint, and it does have a scent. I'm not sure if it's the moringa fragrance, but it's not an overpowering smell. ✅ After using this oil for the first cleanse, my skin doesn't feel tight before using a foam cleanser. When I've only applied sunscreen, I sometimes finish with just this oil cleanse.
Cons☑️ Given its light texture, it's not dramatically effective at removing blackheads. ☑️ It emulsifies well, but since I've been used to using very slippery cleansing oils, it feels like it's washing off while also being absorbed into the skin. It's good to wipe it off once more with a sponge or cloth.
TipUsing a heavy cleansing oil daily can be harsh on the skin, so it might be effective to use this light moringa cleansing oil for daily care and occasionally use a specialized product for dissolving blackheads.

The authentic seal before opening gave me peace of mind. The expiration date was clearly visible, and the ingredients were accurately listed on the packaging box. When I used it, I found the texture to be an oil-based formula without any stickiness, which felt lighter compared to other oil cleansing products - a big plus for me. The scent was also a pleasant surprise; instead of moringa flower, it had a subtle woody fragrance that I preferred. The cleansing effectiveness was as light as its texture, leaving my skin feeling fresh. Previously, I avoided using cleansing oils because I disliked the residual oily feeling, but this Biome Resetting Moringa Oil Cleanser leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean, which I absolutely love. I'm also a fan of the open-close mechanism.
ConsThe formula seems a bit too runny, which makes it slightly difficult to control and prone to dripping during application.
TipI found that by pumping small amounts of the product and carefully rolling it onto specific areas of my skin, I could use it without much oil runoff.

The product is quite yellow, which wasn't obvious due to the brown bottle! It has a yellow-tinted oil with a rather strong aroma scent. Most aromatic oils are yellow liquids in brown bottles, so it felt more like aromatherapy with added cleansing benefits rather than just a typical cleansing product. First and foremost, it doesn't sting the eyes..! This is crucial for me, so I was satisfied. I was amazed at how smoothly it melted away eyeliner! I've tried other oils and balm products, but this one seemed to dissolve makeup the most gently and effortlessly. It was also non-irritating, which was great. I also loved the twist-open cap design! It's much more convenient than removable caps that I always lose. Overall, I'm satisfied! Above all, it removes makeup effectively without irritation, making it perfect for deep cleansing!
ConsI was disappointed that there was still a slippery feeling after use! Even after washing with lukewarm water repeatedly, the slipperiness didn't easily go away.. Is a second cleanse necessary...?!
TipI only use this when I have heavy eye makeup on! Many lip and eye cleansing products are irritating, which was uncomfortable for me. But using this to remove makeup, followed by a second cleanse with an exfoliating toner works great! For sensitive, dry skin like mine, using a cleansing emulsion for the second cleanse and a gentle exfoliating toner pad is even better for avoiding irritation.

It cleansed without irritation. I was worried because other popular cleansing oils caused small bumps, but this product worked well for me. ✔️ Some people have strong opinions about the scent, but my allergies are so severe I can't smell anything... ✔️ There was no tightness after use. I had a skin booster treatment at the dermatologist two weeks ago, and when I cleansed without oil, I felt deep dryness. ✔️ I use other products for blackhead and sebum removal, so I focused solely on this product's cleansing effectiveness. It suited my skin perfectly and was great for my complexion + good for smoothing dead skin cells.
ConsI didn't find anything disappointing. The only thing is that sometimes when pumping, it comes out with a sudden 'plop!' which can be startling.
TipI use a generous amount of cleansing oil, massage quickly and broadly, then slightly dampen my hands and massage again quickly. At this point, keep your fingers relaxed and massage gently! Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, and you're good to go.

Packaging: It's absolutely gorgeous! Just looking at the box feels like receiving a gift, making the unboxing experience delightful. The case itself is so pretty that I felt great even before using the product! It gives you that luxurious cosmetics feeling. Scent: While opinions seem divided, I personally found it quite nice. I dislike the typical suffocating factory smell of unscented oils, so this was actually pleasant for me. Texture: It has a clear oil feel. It's very fluid. The oil I used before was quite thick, which made application a bit difficult. This one, being thinner, spreads easily, making it very convenient to apply. Cleansing effectiveness: The excellent spreadability allows the oil to reach every nook and cranny, which is great. It cleanses by dissolving makeup, so its cleansing power is good. However, for staining tints or mascara, I recommend using a lip and eye remover first.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad. If I had to nitpick, it would be that you need to be careful not to let it drip due to its fluid texture.
TipBecause it's so fluid, you can gently massage it into your skin in circular motions, and your makeup will melt away completely.

Excellent cleansing power The oil-based formula really shines when it comes to thoroughly removing makeup, doesn't it? This product definitely delivers on that front! After rolling the oil and rinsing with water, your skin feels fresh and clean. 2. Luxurious packaging, beautiful and practical container The container looks like glass but is actually lightweight plastic, making it both aesthetically pleasing and practical. I also appreciated the pump dispenser, which allows for clean and easy use. 3. Universally appealing scent Even if a product is great, an unpleasant scent can be disappointing. Fortunately, this product has a non-offensive fragrance that I really liked! The scent is subtle and sophisticated. 4. Skin-friendly ingredients, gentle formula As someone who places great importance on ingredients, I was pleased to find this product packed with beneficial components. It contains well-known, effective ingredients like bifida ferment lysate and retinol. While oil-based products can sometimes cause irritation and blemishes, this one is so gentle that I didn't have to worry about that at all. Zero blemishes throughout the entire Hwahae Testers period! 5. Helps improve dead skin cells and blackheads Since it's non-irritating even with prolonged rolling, I focused on my nose and T-zone. I noticed a significant improvement in dead skin cells and blackheads! I'm so grateful for this product.
Cons1. Problematic pump The product spurts out forcefully 2. Color The color seems artificially added, which makes me uneasy despite knowing it contains good ingredients 3. Price Considering cleansing products are used almost daily, I probably wouldn't buy it at this price. However, I'd consider purchasing if it goes on sale!

Scent: There's an aromatic fragrance that might be hit or miss, but personally, I'm a fan! Initially, I wasn't too keen, but over time I found myself wanting to smell it more and more. Cleansing power: Check out the cleansing photos below! In order, they show Etude Big Cover Concealer, Peripera Simple Mascara, and Peripera Ink Liquid Tint (I believe it was the moisturizing version, though I can't recall the exact name). It removes everything well! The tint seems to have stained a bit. Well, if you're after a tint with good staying power, the Ink Tint is a knockout.... Bottle design: I personally like it. It has a design that feels like it could be amenity in a 4-star hotel... very sleek. However, as I mentioned in the cons, the pump is quite short, so while the design is pretty, the oil tends to come out in big spurts. Price point: After using it a few times, I thought it might be in the 20,000 won range, and sure enough, it is (based on Hwahae's discounted price). At 200ml for around 20,000 won, it's not particularly cheap, especially considering there are many affordable cleansing oils these days. Those looking for the best bang for their buck might want to look elsewhere. Overall personal impression: What surprised me at first was how incredibly well it removes makeup! It practically dissolves makeup on contact. I don't need to emulsify it, yet it cleanses so effectively - something I haven't experienced since using Innisfree. However, the texture feels more like a refreshing facial oil compared to Innisfree. It's also more hydrating than other cleansing oils. It felt gentler on my face. I followed up with Noscarna 9 Cleansing Gel, and they work great together. Both products are gentle and suitable for those with sensitive skin, leaving your cheeks feeling soft and smooth after cleansing. I think this will be my go-to cleansing oil for winter!
ConsGiven that I have combination dehydrated to oily skin, I tend to use oils that are good for pores and blackheads, but this one doesn't seem to have those benefits. I hope they'll release a blackhead-targeting cleansing oil in a similar line later on. The bottle's pump opening is quite short! You know how you usually press gently when you want just a little bit of cleansing oil? Well, that's not possible with this one - it's so short that it fully depresses easily. As a result, it's quite powerful and sometimes the oil shoots out onto my hand. This is something I think could be improved. So while there weren't any major downsides, my personal rating is 4.5 stars.
TipHighly recommended for those with sensitive or dry skin!
