Often called 'peeled egg pads', they're great for pre-makeup skincare and post-cleansing exfoliation. The best part? Even those with super sensitive skin can use them comfortably without causing blemishes. There's not much to complain about, but do remember to gently roll the gauze side as it can be a bit rough. It would be nice if Otti could make the packaging a bit prettier! While these are meant for skincare, I use the embossed side to remove makeup all over my face, then gently roll the gauze side on areas prone to whiteheads and blackheads like the nose, between eyebrows, and chin. Pad texture: The Skwor Peel Pad has a unique design. One side has an embossed surface, while the other has a gauze texture, allowing you to use the appropriate side for different areas. This is a major advantage that I really appreciate. I use the embossed side for my neck and the gauze side for elbows and forearms. The thickness of the pad ensures it doesn't dry out or tear, allowing for irritation-free use until the end. Exfoliation: It provides both physical and chemical exfoliation, leaving skin smooth the next day. It's quite effective, so daily use isn't recommended. While it can be slightly drying due to the exfoliating ingredients, this isn't a problem if you follow up with sufficient hydration. Overall, it allows for effective exfoliation without significant irritation. Packaging: The ability to insert tweezers into the lid is great. However, they don't stay secure, falling out when you close the lid, so you end up using your hands to remove the pads anyway. Price: When calculated per pad, it's not particularly cheap. However, since it's used for exfoliation, you'll use it less frequently than other pads. Plus, you can get it at a reasonable price during various events or hot deals. Usage frequency: As with any exfoliating product, daily use can be irritating, so use it at intervals depending on your skin condition. The embossed side is gentle and mild, perfect for lightly exfoliating the entire face like a toning treatment, helping to manage dead skin cells and sebum. The gauze side is more effective for exfoliation, ideal for areas with thicker skin or stubborn dead skin buildup. Ingredients-wise, it contains four exfoliating components: AHA, BHA, PHA, and LHA. It also includes soothing ingredients like Super Centella and panthenol to calm the skin after exfoliation. The packaging is convenient with an easy-to-open lid rather than a screw-top. It also has built-in tongs in the lid for hygienic pad removal. Personally, I found the gauze side a bit uncomfortable on my face. It felt somewhat irritating. Also, the pads seemed to have absorbed all the product, so I felt there wasn't enough solution. If there was more solution, it might help reduce the irritation from the pad texture. True to its name as an exfoliating pad, it's great not only for removing dead skin cells but also for improving skin texture. When using the gauze side on your face, it's better to gently wipe rather than scrubbing hard. While other pads are also divided into embossed and gauze sides, I really liked how this product's embossed side is soft, while the gauze side is clearly designed for effective dead skin cell removal. It's convenient that you only need to use it once or twice a week. After exfoliating with these pads, my skin feels less dry compared to other exfoliating products. While it's good that they emphasized the gauze side's texture, the pads weren't soaked enough for the solution to drip, making them feel a bit rough. It's too harsh for the face, and even using it on elbows felt abrasive. For those with super sensitive skin, I'd recommend using the gauze side only on your heels.

I'm usually cautious about exfoliating products to avoid irritating my skin, but this one is fantastic. It has dual-sided pads, and the soft side is perfect for gently exfoliating the face without causing any irritation. While others appreciated the included tweezers, I felt a bit guilty seeing the small yellow plastic case with the added tiny tweezers. This is more about packaging than the product itself, but still... Personally, I think a marketing strategy that offers discounts for returning multiple empty containers would be more appealing to women in their 20s and 30s. I was initially concerned about the hydration level since the pads aren't soaked in essence, but surprisingly, they've kept my skin moisturized consistently for two weeks. The dual-sided pads are great for those with sensitive skin. You can use the rougher side on tougher areas like elbows and heels. It was my first time trying the Ottie brand, and it came just when I needed a peeling pad. With the dry weather lately, dead skin cells seem to build up more frequently. While I can't do an intense exfoliation too often, I've been relying on creams to keep flakiness at bay. However, when I apply makeup, it tends to look patchy. That's where this product came in handy! It's great for gentle exfoliation. For those with super sensitive skin like me, using it every two or three days or when you notice dead skin cells building up works well. Also, this is just my personal preference, but I love how it leaves no residue and finishes with a fresh feel. The gauze texture is quite rough, which can be quite irritating. Even with gentle use, it stings around the cheeks and mouth area.

It's effective enough to softly wipe away dead skin cells. ♣︎The real gauze side has a noticeably rougher texture and helps with sebum removal. ♣︎While it might be too harsh for intense exfoliation of elbows or anklebones, using it after a shower can help gently manage dead skin cells in these areas. ♣︎I hadn't realized it, but after using these pads, I no longer feel the need for my weekly or bi-weekly nose pack routine.

I haven't seen many products with such a stark contrast, but this one really stands out. The gauze side is genuinely rough, which would be perfect for those seeking intense dead skin cell removal. It's likely to be a love-it-or-hate-it product. For me, the gauze side was too harsh for my face, but it worked well for removing dead skin cells on areas like elbows and knees. The embossed side is gentle and doesn't irritate the skin at all. I tend to use the embossed side more frequently. +23.01.03 Update / The most crucial effect: At some point after using it, I started feeling like my skin had improved. It feels smoother, like a peeled egg 🥚. My skin was already pretty good, to begin with, but I noticed my makeup went on even better. I think it might be due to the regular exfoliation (with the same skincare routine). My foundation, which used to apply decently, suddenly started to blend in beautifully. The case is sturdy. While the large container size is a bit inconvenient, I appreciate its overall durability. Especially hygienic is the clip storage on the lid. The ingredients are great. These skin pads for dead skin cell care contain no concerning ingredients. The pads make exfoliation convenient. When I use the pad for exfoliation in the evening and wash my face in the morning, my skin feels noticeably softer. I occasionally get some flakiness around my brow area or beside my nose, so I focused on those areas. While I didn't notice any dramatic changes immediately, I believe it's effective. They recommend using it 1-2 times a week, but once a week was enough for me. Since I didn't use it many times during the review period, I plan to continue using it and update my review later. As someone sensitive to scents (I dislike artificial or strong fragrances), I found this pleasant! It's neither artificial nor overpowering. It has a subtle, herbal scent that's so faint you can barely identify it. The gauze side feels quite rough, which was a bit disappointing for me as I prefer a scrub that's between the embossed and gauze textures. I didn't notice during use, but from the next morning and for 1-2 days after, my skin felt very tingly... Those with thin or super sensitive skin should avoid the gauze side. The case is unnecessarily large, which is inconvenient. It could be a bit smaller to match the size of the pads. Please avoid using it around the eye area. I unknowingly used it near my eyes and it stung terribly.

The Otti Scour Peel Pads seem to focus on dead skin cell removal, as the name suggests. Perhaps because of this, the amount of serum is relatively low. The pads have two sides - a gauze side and an embossed side. For my super sensitive skin, the gauze side was too harsh, so I used it on my heels and elbows instead. The embossed side, while a bit thick for use as a mask (it doesn't adhere well), works great for a quick swipe to effectively remove dead skin cells. The pads have a refreshing scent. The gauze side is too rough to use on the face.
