My skin is extremely sensitive and combination dehydrated, so even if I don't sleep well or eat fried foods, my skin flares up the next day. Changing my skincare routine usually results in redness like a burn and peeling dead skin cells. However, like the panthenol ampoule, this dexpanthenol ampoule is gentle and doesn't cause any blemishes at all. The texture is less runny than panthenol, absorbs better, and is less sticky. Panthenol would quickly become sticky, causing hair to stick to it, and it would itch after application. Dexpanthenol feels more substantial when applying, but after it's absorbed, it's not very sticky and doesn't itch. I can't tell much difference in hydration effects between the two, but both seem perfect for combination dehydrated skin like mine. I think I'll be switching to dexpanthenol from now on.
ConsI've been using it for over a month, and I can't think of any downsides yet. Maybe just wishing there was a larger size available?
TipFor my large-pored T-zone, I apply it right after toner, then mix it with my moisturizer and apply it all over my face again. Somehow, this seems to reduce oiliness and dryness. It's famous as a makeup hack to mix a small amount with foundation or BB cream for a flawless application, but I prefer a matte look so I haven't tried that yet.

I thought there wasn't a better moisturizer for oily skin, providing both hydration and antioxidants. However, the more I used it, I felt there was room for improvement. As soon as the 50 version was released, I immediately purchased it. I was worried the high concentration of panthenol might cause irritation, but it doesn't at all. The texture is noticeably different - you can feel how concentrated it is. The hydration is significantly upgraded, and I think I'll only be using the 50 version from now on.
ConsWith the 30 version, I could reapply on dry areas without any pilling or issues. However, with the 50 version, there's a slight feeling of pilling and sliding when reapplying. You might need to adjust the amount when layering.
TipIf you mix a drop or two into a cream that lacks hydration, it boosts the cream's moisturizing power.
