It is a transparent, smoothly flowing water-type toner. I used it by absorbing it with my hands. When I applied it and patted it a few times, it was absorbed well without any stickiness. Personally, I thought that applying it multiple times was a bit heavy. After applying it, I felt a sense of organization and a smooth feeling. So I also felt that the next steps were somehow better absorbed. I highly recommend this to those with dry skin. As a person with dry and flaky skin, this is perfect for me to use in the summer. Rather than fully replenishing the skin's moisture, it helps to smooth out the skin's texture and exfoliate. So once it's fully absorbed, I find it a bit drying by my standards.
