I used to use the Hwahae pack well, but since it was discontinued, I couldn't find the mud pack. I liked the mud pack with a large capacity for the price. The spreadability is very smooth and the granules inside are not rough, so it doesn't seem to irritate the skin much. The container that you squeeze out is hygienic. After cleansing, the face becomes soft and it seems to be good for improving skin texture. The scent was also a pleasant herbal scent. It's a decent product for the price, but it doesn't suit my skin, so I'll give it to another family member. It's a shame it doesn't work for my skin. This product was also too irritating on my face as soon as I applied it :( It's not because of the granules inside, but the product itself doesn't seem to suit me :( I had to rinse it off immediately. It applies more thinly and smoothly when applied with a brush-like product rather than with the hands. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 13, 2024
For a $5 product, the quality and ingredient composition are impressive. With bentonite and kaolin, it's great for pore care. Thanks to centella, tea tree, and salicylic acid, it seems to provide some blemish care as well. The best advantage is that it's affordable enough to use generously every 2-3 days. Although it's a bit intense since it hardens, it's perfect for cleansing the T-zone. I don't understand the purpose of the granules. It's not a scrub but a mask you spread on, and the granules just cause more irritation when applying and washing off. It's also more troublesome to rinse and makes the sink messy. Still, there are no major drawbacks. It's a good product in terms of both value for money and overall quality. Since it can cause irritation and a burning sensation after it hardens, it's best to rinse it off with cool water. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 9, 2023
Value for money: Considering the price of just 5,000 won, the effects are quite good. It's easily accessible since it's sold at Daiso stores. Application: It's not thick or sticky, but spreads smoothly, making it easy to apply on the nose. Effectiveness: I've only tried mung bean mud packs before, and the performance of this mud pack is similar. As it dries, it effectively removes excess oil, exfoliates dead skin cells, and cleanses well. I'm very satisfied with its results. Sensation: Perhaps due to the centella asiatica ingredient, there's a slightly warm feeling when using it. It's not irritating; rather, it feels like it's soothing any heat in the skin. However, those with sensitive skin should still be cautious. Particles: There are small granules in the formula... While they seem to be for exfoliation, they're a bit large and can be bothersome when rinsing off. Brush usage: I found that using a cleansing brush while washing it off makes it even more effective at cleansing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2023
I have combination sensitive skin with large pores, lack of hydration, and excess oil. Someone recommended this, and I bought it with some skepticism, but it's now one of my top mud masks! The texture is just right - not too thick or thin, making it super easy to apply! It doesn't drip everywhere, saving cleanup time, and the tube packaging lets me squeeze it directly onto my face for convenience. I was worried about staining due to its greenish tint, but there's no discoloration at all. While it feels a bit tight when it dries, my skin doesn't feel tight after rinsing, which is great. It really helps calm my skin. The Centella Asiatica works wonders for me, but those sensitive to it should be cautious. I use this mask after cleansing on days I focus on sebum control, and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and less saggy. I keep using it because it's gentle - even after using blackhead removal masks or oil cleansing, it doesn't cause any blemishes! To be honest, I usually expect pore-tightening effects from mud masks, but this one seems to prioritize soothing over pore refinement. There are leaf-like particles in it, which are surprisingly large. You need to be careful not to rub too hard, as they can scratch your skin. The same caution applies when rinsing it off. Given the particles, I find it's best to apply with a mask brush! It's hard to apply evenly with hands, and you risk scratching your skin. When rinsing, using a sponge is much gentler and removes the mask more effectively. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2023
- The ingredients are gentle on the skin - It's affordably priced - Easily available at Daiso stores - As a mud pack that also contains centella asiatica, it seems capable of addressing both blemishes and pores simultaneously - It contains particles that can be difficult to rinse off during cleansing - The consistency is thinner than expected, making it slightly challenging to apply neatly - As it dries, there's a noticeable tightening sensation around the pores, which might be too intense for those with super sensitive skin - It's best not to leave it on for too long. Aim for 10 to 15 minutes maximum before rinsing off - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 30, 2023
1. The pore-shrinking effect is clearly visible! I tried it the same evening I bought it, and the immediate results are no joke! After applying a thick layer and washing it off once completely dry, the pores in my 'butterfly zone' (cheek area) were noticeably tightened. It also exfoliated, making my skin brighter and more refined! The pores tightened so much that my face looks incredibly youthful - it's seriously amazing! Initially, I planned to use it only on my nose since using a pore brush there regularly can be harsh and painful. But I ended up applying it all over my face and I'm extremely satisfied. 2. The ingredients are gentle! 3. The price is incredibly low - what a steal! * I've only tried Innisfree's mud pack once before, and it didn't show any noticeable pore-tightening effects. * I've used a popular CO2 pack for quite a while, but it didn't tighten my pores. * This centella mud pack from Daiso showed results in just one day. I keep looking in the mirror, haha! ** For reference, I used it two days in a row out of curiosity, and it didn't irritate my skin, so it was great for me. My skin is dry with a lack of hydration, but my nose gets oily. It's not extremely sensitive. I usually use BHA products for acne care and don't find them particularly sensitizing. Fermented products work well for me too. My skin only gets sensitive when I wear makeup! Maybe because I've been wearing masks lately and only applying brightening moisturizer, my skin has become less sensitive?! Anyway, ♥︎ I'll use this product forever. I'm excited to try other products from Daiso's Plant Collection line too! It has granules. The granules don't wash off easily when cleansing. While the irritation isn't too severe, I still find myself being careful when applying it... Still, at 5000 won for 100ml, it's incredibly good value. You can use it frequently without worrying about the cost. I have a vitamin gel pack that I usually use, and I tried mixing it with this - it was a complete disaster! Absolutely do not attempt this. It clumped terribly. I considered mixing it more thoroughly, but ended up applying it to my face with a spatula. It still had some effect, but I'm thinking of buying Daiso toner to mix with it instead. Apparently, it doesn't mix well with vitamin-containing products.
