For a $5 product, the quality and ingredient composition are impressive. With bentonite and kaolin, it's great for pore care. Thanks to centella, tea tree, and salicylic acid, it seems to provide some blemish care as well. The best advantage is that it's affordable enough to use generously every 2-3 days. Although it's a bit intense since it hardens, it's perfect for cleansing the T-zone. I don't understand the purpose of the granules. It's not a scrub but a mask you spread on, and the granules just cause more irritation when applying and washing off. It's also more troublesome to rinse and makes the sink messy. Still, there are no major drawbacks. It's a good product in terms of both value for money and overall quality. Since it can cause irritation and a burning sensation after it hardens, it's best to rinse it off with cool water. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2023
I expected the mud pack to have an unpleasant scent, but it surprisingly had a mild, herbal aroma. The moisturizing texture absorbs well, and I felt a refreshing tightening sensation on my pores. The only downside is the small size. I wish it came in a larger volume as I feel like I'll use it up quickly. After thoroughly cleansing your face, apply the mask evenly and generously. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 13, 2023
I've completely cleared out the excess oil and sebum from my pores with this product! Seeing water, kaolin, and bentonite at the top of the ingredient list (Kaolin - gentle and moisturizing, but less deep cleansing) (Bentonite - dries thoroughly with some irritation, but excellent deep cleansing) I bought it without hesitation and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. The texture is thin, making it easy to apply a light layer. As it dries, it gets quite tight, almost to the point of feeling too dry. But after leaving it on for about 20 minutes and washing it off? It's a miracle - my pores are visibly clearer and refined. (It's not that blackheads disappear, but rather the skin texture is noticeably improved) My skin condition right now is so supple and amazing... Until now, the best clay mask I've used was Innisfree's Volcanic Clay 2X (discontinued), but as of today, I've found a new holy grail... Who would have thought I'd find a holy grail product at Daiso? If it's this good just as a mask, I can't wait to see how my skin improves with regular use. Recently, new clay masks have been focusing on being gentle and moisturizing, packing in kaolin and all sorts of hydrating ingredients. I've been reluctantly using the Shrek mask (feeling like I might as well order pure bentonite powder). But now Daiso has released this incredibly cost-effective, life-changing mud mask - there's no reason not to buy it. I bought it along with a citrus peel-off mask that was disappointing, so I didn't have high expectations, but I'm so happy! Once the rainy season is over, I plan to stock up on about four jars. It's far better than the Shrek mask or the volcanic clay mask! This isn't really a downside, but because it contains a lot of bentonite, it might be irritating for those with sensitive or thin skin. However, for those like me with thick, oily, sebum-rich skin, I think everyone will be satisfied with this product. Plus, the price is so reasonable. 100g for just 5000 won - you can't even get Shin Ramyun Rose for that price! For those with oily, sebum-rich skin, try searching for 'supple skin routine' on Google and follow the tips! Your skin will become incredibly soft and bouncy. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2023
I usually trust Daiso cosmetics, but lately I've been so obsessed with face masks that I decided to try this one, thinking 'why not?' (I even make my own modeling masks, so I don't skimp on ingredients or investment) But guess what? It's actually pretty good! The application is incredibly smooth, and it dries well, which is nice. I've used it three times now, applying it thickly, and I haven't even used half of it. Here's what I like: You can see actual pieces of centella, so you know they really used it! It has a pore-tightening effect No bothersome scent (just a light herbal smell) Definitely a great value for the price You can use it generously without feeling guilty The cooling effect seems a bit lacking, but that might be because I used it while taking a hot bath It's quite thick, so if you don't apply it properly, a lot can end up on your hands (When I applied it carelessly without looking in the mirror, it went on too thinly) Why did they use colorants? Those sensitive to dyes should pass on this However... I have sensitive skin prone to heat (my face gets hot, blemishes appear, and my skin darkens if I use the wrong products = crazy skin), but seeing how this makes my blemishes disappear and cools my skin, it's still a good item to use - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 5, 2023
- The ingredients are gentle on the skin - It's affordably priced - Easily available at Daiso stores - As a mud pack that also contains centella asiatica, it seems capable of addressing both blemishes and pores simultaneously - It contains particles that can be difficult to rinse off during cleansing - The consistency is thinner than expected, making it slightly challenging to apply neatly - As it dries, there's a noticeable tightening sensation around the pores, which might be too intense for those with super sensitive skin - It's best not to leave it on for too long. Aim for 10 to 15 minutes maximum before rinsing off - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 30, 2023
1. The pore-shrinking effect is clearly visible! I tried it the same evening I bought it, and the immediate results are no joke! After applying a thick layer and washing it off once completely dry, the pores in my 'butterfly zone' (cheek area) were noticeably tightened. It also exfoliated, making my skin brighter and more refined! The pores tightened so much that my face looks incredibly youthful - it's seriously amazing! Initially, I planned to use it only on my nose since using a pore brush there regularly can be harsh and painful. But I ended up applying it all over my face and I'm extremely satisfied. 2. The ingredients are gentle! 3. The price is incredibly low - what a steal! * I've only tried Innisfree's mud pack once before, and it didn't show any noticeable pore-tightening effects. * I've used a popular CO2 pack for quite a while, but it didn't tighten my pores. * This centella mud pack from Daiso showed results in just one day. I keep looking in the mirror, haha! ** For reference, I used it two days in a row out of curiosity, and it didn't irritate my skin, so it was great for me. My skin is dry with a lack of hydration, but my nose gets oily. It's not extremely sensitive. I usually use BHA products for acne care and don't find them particularly sensitizing. Fermented products work well for me too. My skin only gets sensitive when I wear makeup! Maybe because I've been wearing masks lately and only applying brightening moisturizer, my skin has become less sensitive?! Anyway, ♥︎ I'll use this product forever. I'm excited to try other products from Daiso's Plant Collection line too! It has granules. The granules don't wash off easily when cleansing. While the irritation isn't too severe, I still find myself being careful when applying it... Still, at 5000 won for 100ml, it's incredibly good value. You can use it frequently without worrying about the cost. I have a vitamin gel pack that I usually use, and I tried mixing it with this - it was a complete disaster! Absolutely do not attempt this. It clumped terribly. I considered mixing it more thoroughly, but ended up applying it to my face with a spatula. It still had some effect, but I'm thinking of buying Daiso toner to mix with it instead. Apparently, it doesn't mix well with vitamin-containing products.
