As someone with combination skin, I tend to get a bit oily on my forehead and nose. I've been concerned about deep dryness lately, so I was thrilled to win this product from The Hwahae Testers that addresses my concerns! I usually prefer hydration over oil, so I was a bit worried about using something too rich. However, on the first day, I followed others' advice and used a pea-sized amount. Surprisingly, it didn't feel heavy at all. The texture is thick, but it absorbs well into the skin. What amazed me was how my slightly sticky skin transformed into a powder-like finish - it felt velvety smooth to the touch! It's not like applying actual powder; it just gives that sensation. Being combination, my T-zone did get a bit shiny after a while, but not enough to need blotting. The panthenol in it is great for barrier care too! My skin barrier was a bit compromised due to winter dryness, but I noticed subtle improvements over two weeks. I'd recommend this to anyone needing barrier repair or a winter moisturizer! As a hydration enthusiast, I found this product leaning more towards moisturizing and richness rather than pure hydration. The feel on the skin was slightly disappointing for me, and I think it might be a bit heavy for summer use. When your skincare routine leaves you feeling sticky, a thin layer of this works hard to give you that velvety smooth finish! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 8, 2024
As someone with sensitive and dry skin, I usually use the Atobarrier 365 Cream. I was excited to try the Manyo Factory Panthenol Cream, expecting it to provide solid hydration. The texture is quite rich, and you can definitely feel the oil content. I thought it would be perfect for fall and winter use. Comparing it to Atobarrier: The Manyo Factory Panthenol Cream has a thicker, more substantial texture. It feels oilier than Atobarrier, which applies more smoothly. However, rather than feeling deeply moisturized, it felt like there was an oily film on my face, and my skin still felt slightly dry underneath. Unfortunately, the next morning my skin felt even drier than usual. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 8, 2024
It's free from harmful ingredients and packed with beneficial ones. True to its name as a moisturizing cream, I found its hydrating properties to be truly exceptional. Even with just one layer, my skin felt incredibly soft and deeply hydrated. The thick consistency doesn't run, giving the impression that it's holding my face in place. It adheres to the skin without sliding off. For a hydrating cream, it feels more oil-heavy than water-based. Those with combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types might find it a bit heavy even with a single layer. The rich texture combined with high oil content can feel somewhat suffocating. After some time, it seems to make the skin excessively shiny. The combination of the product's oils and my natural sebum resulted in an overly glossy finish. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2024
I bought this to try a new product as I was running out of my usual cream. I used it as a night cream and loved how it applied - not heavy at all, but light and moisturizing. It might be a bit too light for winter though, so I'll probably need to layer it two or three times. It's too light to use on its own, so I tried applying a thin layer of a light soothing cream before this emulsion. However, it ended up feeling way too oily. I thought it might be because of the combination with the soothing cream, but it's the same even when I use it with a serum. It's not just the typical oiliness you feel after applying a cream - when you touch your skin, it feels like you've poured oil on it. It doesn't feel heavy, but it's so oily that I'm worried it might clog my pores. I've only used it for two days so I haven't experienced any blemishes yet, but I'm anxious about my skin potentially breaking out. I'm not sure if this level of oiliness is normal for everyone, but if you find that it feels like you've applied straight oil rather than an emulsion, keep a close eye on your skin condition while using it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 20, 2024
After being perfectly settled with Amore Pacific's Soon Plus Emulsion, I had to switch brands... I wandered here and there until I found this product. Being a cream, it has a thick texture, so it's not exactly light, but after applying, it feels like it creates a moisturizing barrier. It's so hydrating! I love that it's fragrance-free and colorless, and the ingredients are gentle. I plan to use it continuously, though I'm not sure how it'll perform in the warm summer weather. After letting a hydrating essence absorb fully and then applying this product, the moisturizing effect lasts for a very long time, and my face feels comfortable. The packaging design is clean and sleek, with a square opening that adds a nice touch. This product contains more oil than hydration. Honestly, it just creates a layer without providing much moisture. As time passes, it becomes quite oily. It gets really slippery on areas like the temples and eyelids. I've been using it without any issues since it's still chilly outside and I haven't experienced any blemishes, but I'm not sure how it'll perform in spring and summer. After generously applying a hydrating essence and using a rubber mask, I finish with this cream. It keeps my skin moisturized and gives me a clear complexion all day long. I love it! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2024
I've been using this product for about 5 days since receiving it. The scent is nearly fragrance-free. The texture is similar to a typical cream. When applied, it has a moderate rich feel, but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It helped address my deep dryness issues. It's on the richer side, so a few minutes after application, you feel more of an oily sensation rather than a pleasant moisturized feeling. However, it didn't cause any blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2024
First off, despite being a high-moisture barrier-strengthening cream, the texture is surprisingly light, almost like a hydrating moisturizer. This means it absorbs very quickly and can be applied to the skin without any irritation. With its barrier-reinforcing and soothing ingredients, it helps reduce redness when applied. Even in the harsh winter winds, my skin condition remained excellent! As it applies without irritation and has gentle ingredients, there were no issues with blemishes or itching when using this cream. While the product itself is good at moisturizing, it feels quite rich but lacks hydration. As a result, my skin felt rough after some time. This product might feel too oily for men to use. Being a deeply moisturizing barrier-strengthening cream, it's inevitable to feel a bit heavy on the skin, as if your pores are slightly clogged. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2024
My skin type is sensitive, prone to redness, and leans towards dry. I really liked this panthenol cream, starting with the box packaging. The container is also nice - a clean, square tube shape. It's pretty! The scent is so mild it's almost unnoticeable, making it comfortable to use. While experiences may vary, I found the texture wasn't too heavy, so it spread well on my face and had a nice feel. Even after applying a couple of layers, it didn't feel heavy or suffocating. After using it for a few days, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation. If I had to nitpick, it focuses more on moisturizing, so you feel more of the rich texture than hydration. For dry skin, one layer might not be enough. It works great if you layer it over a hydrating serum or toner! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2023
Absorbs well: The way it glides on smoothly is fantastic. Oil and moisture balance: Highly recommended for those who prefer a richer feel over hydration! Lasting richness: I love how the rich texture persists for a long time! Itch relief: My calves were very itchy, but applying this definitely improved the situation! It's a bit slippery. For my preference, it feels more rich than hydrating, which was disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 5, 2023
First off, I'm thrilled it's in a tube rather than a jar - that's a big win for packaging! When using intensely moisturizing products, I used to hate how my hair and dust would stick to my face. But this one's a game-changer! The moisturizing ingredients are finely dispersed, leaving your skin feeling smooth and hydrated without any residue. That's a major plus! Applying it myself, I found the texture to be smooth and easy to spread, not overly thick or sticky. What's more, it's fragrance-free and colorant-free, making it perfect for sensitive souls like me who react to scents! Now, why is using a cream so crucial? After applying your hydrating serum, you need to lock in that moisture and prevent it from evaporating. It's all about maintaining that delicate balance between oil and hydration in your skin. So what about those with oily skin? Since this product is a bit on the richer side, you might want to focus more on hydration and go easy on the oils. Always check the ingredients and adjust accordingly! I'm happy to report I've been using this without any blemishes popping up. This product leans more towards being oily rather than hydrating. I'd recommend it for those with dry skin. For best results, apply it after your toner, essence, emulsion, and serum steps.
