Pros
This has been the most effective product among the calming products I've tried. The color is incredibly beautiful.
Cons
Since I have sensitive skin, after using it for about 3 days, my skin became inflamed and irritated. I was wondering what the problem was while comparing it to other products, but it's definitely because of this product. As soon as I apply it, the area I applied becomes extremely itchy, and a lot of flaky skin develops, leading to contact dermatitis.. It is truly a good product. If it suits someone, they would be able to use it extremely well.

Even with a regular camera, my dry skin doesn't show up well. This is the state after washing my face with just water and some time has passed. I originally had severe redness and blemishes. I had a bad experience using Cicaline before, where my skin became irritated and inflamed, so I couldn't use it after that. I was really agonizing over whether to buy the Beplain Cicatanol toner since it's also a Cicaline product, but I decided to give it a try since Beplain has been getting a lot of attention lately and my skin is really sensitive, making it hard to find the right skincare products. 1. First of all, it's amazing. I can't even describe how good it is. My skin is extremely sensitive, and even the gentlest products would irritate it or cause breakouts. But this toner is truly so gentle and my skin feels so much better after using it. 2. I also bought the cotton pads that are sold with it. Last time, I just bought some random cotton pads thinking it wouldn't matter, but my skin immediately became red, irritated, and painful. The toner itself seemed to work okay, but the cotton pads didn't agree with my skin. This time, I carefully read the reviews and saw that the Cicatanol toner and cotton pads are sold together, so I decided to try that. The cotton pads are also really gentle and nice. If I finish these, I'll probably buy more. 3. I really recommend this toner to anyone with sensitive skin like mine. I've been a skincare nomad, trying all kinds of products, but I'm hoping I can finally settle down with this one.

I'm not sure if this is a skincare issue or a cleansing issue, but after doing my full skincare routine, my face starts to feel itchy. I bought these products towards the end of summer, so it could be related to the seasonal change. I'm not too concerned about the dryness and flakiness that can happen during this transitional period, but the persistent itchiness, especially around my jawline, is worrying me. Before switching to these new products, I was using a cleansing foam that didn't irritate my skin and the Dokdo toner, and I don't remember having this much itchiness. I've stopped using the products for now, and the itchiness goes away when I don't use them, but my skin is still getting dry and flaky due to the seasonal change. I really wanted to stick with this routine, but I may need to observe it a bit longer.
Tip
I recommend trying the Cicatanol Ampoule from the same line as the toner you're using! Using the toner and ampoule together might help address the issues you're experiencing.

My mother said it's not bad to use in the summer because it's lightweight and absorbs well when she used it.
