It's called a treatment, but it's more like a scalp exfoliating shampoo. You use it before your regular shampoo, and I applied it after wetting my hair to create a good lather. My scalp is super oily, but when I use this, the next day it's less greasy and the smell from my crown area is reduced. I really felt that you get what you pay for with this product. I definitely experienced its effectiveness. Listen up, folks! Aveda's only drawback is its price. It's like magic - a small difference in quality, but the cost doubles or even quintuples. However, if you're truly concerned about your scalp health, go for Aveda without hesitation. - ch*******Dehydrated SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedOct 4, 2024
1. I discovered Aveda when I needed scalp care in a dry environment. 2. I regularly color and perm my hair, which can sometimes lead to blemishes on my scalp depending on its condition. I apply an appropriate amount of treatment to my damp scalp and then brush it with a scalp brush. 3. It removes excess oil and dead skin cells, leaving my scalp feeling refreshed. I use it about 1-2 times a week. The subtle fragrance is also mood-lifting. 4. The narrow tip of the container makes it easy to apply and control the amount. With consistent use, it helps maintain both scalp health and hair vitality. While it's a bit inconvenient as a pre-shampoo treatment, the effectiveness of the scalp care keeps me reaching for it. - ne****Combination SkinAcne SkinSep 21, 2023
The narrow opening is great for applying the product precisely along the parting. It's very convenient to use. I won't be repurchasing this. First off, the process of using this before shampooing, rinsing, and then shampooing is just too much hassle. Honestly, I've lived my whole life without this product, and suddenly adding this extra step feels cumbersome. I'm not even sure if it's making any difference.
