This product is truly impressive with its excellent ingredients, smooth application, and satisfying hydration effects. To be honest, I'm hesitant about repurchasing because the price is quite steep compared to the amount of serum you get from other brands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
I have sensitive, combination skin. Also, please note that I'm currently focusing on hydration in my skincare routine due to the dry winter weather. The Hwahae Testers, take note! This product worked well for me without any major adverse reactions. Of course, everyone's skin is different, but as someone with super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation. The texture is like a thick serum, but it's not too heavy and absorbs well, so it doesn't feel suffocating. This consistency makes it more suitable for winter when you need extra hydration, rather than summer. Still, you might need to layer on a richer cream to survive the winter...! Despite its rich texture, it doesn't feel sticky or sit on top of the skin, which makes for a pleasant application. It's fragrance-free, which I love as I'm not a fan of strong cosmetic scents. The packaging looks luxurious. When a friend visited and saw my skincare products, they immediately pointed this one out, saying it looked expensive and high-end. I felt the same when I first saw it, and it makes me feel a bit fancy when I use it. The dropper is a bit inconvenient. It doesn't dispense all the product it draws up. I tend to apply generously, so one squeeze isn't enough, but when I try to get more out, it doesn't come easily. It's hard to tell how much product is left. The opaque bottle makes it difficult to gauge the remaining amount. It's frustrating when the dropper doesn't pick up product, and not being able to see inside makes it even more annoying... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
First off, it's wonderfully hydrating. I loved how it moisturizes without feeling oily. It's hydrating without being sticky at all. I'm always cautious about trying new serums due to my blemish-prone skin, but wow! This felt surprisingly gentle and comfortable for me. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say it felt non-irritating. The absorption is great too. I'm really pleased with everything about it. I'm planning to purchase it and continue using it! There wasn't anything I truly disliked about it. If I had to nitpick, occasionally the dropper in the bottle doesn't come up smoothly sometimes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
Hello there! First off, I'd like to express my gratitude for being selected as one of The Hwahae Testers. I have extremely dry skin with redness and I'm quite sensitive. I started by patch testing a small amount, then used it in the morning, and eventually applied it both morning and evening daily. I must say, I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! I used it after my toner, and I was very pleased with how it absorbs without any stickiness - the texture is fantastic. What really stood out to me was how different my skin felt when I applied my emulsion cream after this serum. My dryness has significantly improved! Highly recommended! The dropper doesn't draw up the product very well. I want to pull up a good amount at once, but I end up having to do it multiple times. Also, it's quite expensive. I wish there were more discounts available! If you apply a generous amount in the evening before your cream and go to sleep, you'll wake up with a beautiful glow. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2023
Pump bottle: Doesn't drip, so you can carry it around with peace of mind when on the go. Texture: It has a runny consistency, but the absorption is great! Gentleness: Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't get any blemishes. I've realized how important ingredients really are. Price: While I like it overall, it seems a bit expensive. The amount is small for that price - is it worth it? I'm not sure. Hydration: It feels moisturizing when first applied, but becomes dry within a few hours, so using it alone might be risky. Right after applying when it's still moist, generously layer on Physiogel Daily Emulsion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2023
The absorption is wonderfully moisturizing, and it's been a game-changer for my skin. Recently, my skin had been inexplicably sensitive and prone to redness, despite following my usual cleansing and skincare routine. However, after applying this ampoule, I noticed a calming effect from the second day onward. My boyfriend tried it too and commented on how well it absorbs! The soothing properties and skin barrier strengthening effects are definitely noticeable. While the effectiveness is great and I'd consider purchasing it myself - it's gentle and non-irritating, something I'd recommend to others - I find the price a bit steep, especially since I tend to use skincare products generously. Though, I realize most people find one pump sufficient, whereas I use about two, which probably contributes to my concern about the cost. After applying essence toner and the ampoule, I add an extra layer of soothing ampoule when my skin feels particularly dry or sensitive. I like to massage the ampoule into my skin and then gently pat it in, which gives a nice, firm feeling. However, if you're not a fan of this sensation, keep that in mind when applying! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2023
1. The bouncy texture and smooth application are impressive. I was very satisfied with the formula, which is crucial for my first impression of a product. It matched the texture I expect from a high-performance ampoule. 2. It absorbs into the skin with a plumping effect and improves skin condition. The quick absorption makes it perfect for a robust skincare routine. 3. My skin is extremely prone to deep dryness, so products I'm satisfied with are few and far between. I've tried all the famous products, but they weren't right for me. With this product, I didn't feel any dryness for nearly 10 hours. I'm very satisfied with just changing the ampoule in my existing routine. Personally, I found the dropper cap inconvenient. It's difficult to control the amount, which is a case I don't prefer. Mixing it with foundation increases adherence. You must try it! It goes on so smoothly, allowing for a flawless skin finish. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2023
I have blemish-prone skin with acne scars, redness, and minor breakouts. This review is based on one day of use, and I plan to update with any pros or cons after continued use. First off, I love the generous size and the pump dispenser that releases the ampoule when pressed. The packaging design is great as it collects less dust compared to other products that can be off-putting even if the product itself is good. The ampoule applies smoothly and feels hydrating. It's somewhat similar to a soothing gel! There's a noticeable cooling sensation upon application, and the hydration lasts for a long time after use. It does feel a bit sticky until fully absorbed, which takes about 1-2 minutes. I tested the ampoule on the back of my hand and wrist, and the area between my thumb and index finger felt itchy and tingly for a moment. On my face, there was no stinging, but I did experience a slight itchiness along with the moisturizing effect. However, this sensation didn't last long. Compared to other ampoules, this one seems slightly less effective, though it might be because I've only used it for a day. The other products in the set might also be influencing my perception. While I received this as a gift and found it satisfactory, I'm not sure if it's worth the 49,000 won price tag yet. Based on one day's use, I wouldn't repurchase it. On a positive note, I accidentally dropped it from a high desk onto the floor, and the container remained intact! Not even a crack - truly impressive. I used it in this routine: Toner -> Cica Ampoule -> Moisturizing Cream -> Cica Cream Everything else was from the set, but I swapped in this TL:I ampoule.
