Great for super sensitive skin. It's definitely better than the ampoule I was using before. It's a bit sticky and takes a while to absorb completely. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 30, 2023
As someone with sensitive skin that reacts immediately to incompatible ingredients, I'm pleased to report no adverse reactions or allergic blemishes after using this for over 3 days. The patented TLE-10 complex (beta-sitosterol + 2 types of hyaluronic acid + 7 peptides), designed for atopic dermatitis and wound healing, effectively soothes the chronic dryness (redness, tingling, and itching) associated with atopic dry skin. The bouncy, highly concentrated essential formula adheres gently without dripping, making application a breeze. Due to its high viscosity, it takes some time to absorb and leaves a sticky feeling for a while. It might be challenging to layer with other serums or ampoules, and could potentially cause pilling or slipping with base makeup products like sunscreen. Unfortunately, the dropper's functionality is quite subpar. Recommended for nighttime skincare routines. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2023
I purchased this product with my own money. My skin is oily, sensitive, prone to rosacea, and reacts with small bumps to incompatible ingredients. I bought this along with the cream after watching a YouTube review. The ingredients are excellent, and when first applied, it has a lovely texture similar to a hydrating ampoule. There's a slight stickiness after application, but it feels like it creates a protective layer. For oily or combination dehydrated skin, it might be better suited for night care or fall/winter use rather than summer. It's difficult to gauge how much product is left. The packaging is inconvenient, and the texture is sticky. Due to its rich, nourishing ampoule formulation, I'd recommend using it at night rather than before makeup to avoid pilling. When using both the ampoule and cream together, I noticed 1-2 small bumps. However, after switching back to my usual skincare for a day, the bumps quickly subsided. When I tried the product again, there were no issues. Currently, I'm cautiously using it only for night care, while sticking to my regular routine during the day. Despite having combination dehydrated, oily skin that doesn't typically feel dry, I wake up with a slightly dry feeling inside. Despite the abundance of soothing ingredients, I didn't notice much improvement in redness, nor did I experience any clogged pores. Overall, it was just okay. The richness might be too much for oily or combination dehydrated skin types during summer. Recommended for combination, dry, and combination dehydrated skin types that experience dryness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2023
<<<<Combination dehydrated skin>>>> - Packaging: Looks clean and pretty, gives off a mature vibe like it belongs on an adult's vanity - Absorbs: Great texture that doesn't feel slippery, spreads easily - Feels more like a moisturizer than a hydrating product - Absorbs extremely well (Once the initial stickiness fades, it leaves skin feeling incredibly fresh, making it suitable for use before bed or pre-makeup in the morning) - Seems to have some hydration, but it feels insufficient! - There's a sticky feeling right after application, but it disappears very quickly It might be better to apply two or three layers rather than just one! For best results, thoroughly hydrate your skin with a hydrating product before applying this! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2023
My skin is typically combination dehydrated, but it's been extra dry lately due to winter! 💘 The gel texture doesn't slide off my face 💘 It feels deeply hydrating 💘 I think it's helping improve my skin barrier because I haven't had any blemishes! 💘 The packaging is super convenient It automatically refills when you close the lid, which is so handy! After applying this, I layered a brightening serum (liquid type) on top, but they don't seem to work well together - it became incredibly sticky! Even with just two layers, it feels sticky! Because of this, my makeup tends to pill. Bummer! So I've decided to only use it at night! If you use multiple serums, I'd recommend applying liquid-type serums first before using this product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2023
I was really impressed with the packaging. Although it has a dropper, when you twist open the cap, the ampoule naturally fills the dropper - no need to manually draw it up! I loved how convenient this was, and the amount dispensed was perfect for one use. If your skin is dry, it feels as refreshing as if you've just applied toner - like you've put something on, but also like you haven't. When your skin is in good condition, it applies with a rich texture that provides ample hydration and forms a protective barrier. I appreciated that despite being an ampoule, it wasn't too lightweight. I've been using it for a week without any blemishes, which makes me love it even more. It seems to nourish my skin without being burdensome, and I'm grateful to have been chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers for this product. Because it's winter and my skin is dry, the stickiness wasn't an issue as it absorbed quickly. However, in hot summer, a product that takes longer to absorb might be difficult to choose. Some people might prefer the long-lasting hydration that stays on the skin, so it's really a matter of personal preference. Applying it after cleansing seemed to help it absorb into the skin better. It's best to gently pat it in after thoroughly massaging it onto your skin, and you can add a cream on top if needed. I'd recommend using it on freshly cleansed skin rather than a dry face! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2023
I love the pretty design and the unique, convenient way to open the product. When using small amounts, it absorbs well into the skin. I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, and currently my skin is very dry with severe redness. Despite claims of being good for the skin barrier, I didn't see much benefit. It's also a bit sticky, so I found it more comfortable to use at night rather than before morning makeup. The dropper is quite long, which felt a bit awkward when applying directly to the face. I recommend applying it before bed at night. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2023
I have blemish-prone skin with acne scars, redness, and minor breakouts. This review is based on one day of use, and I plan to update with any pros or cons after continued use. First off, I love the generous size and the pump dispenser that releases the ampoule when pressed. The packaging design is great as it collects less dust compared to other products that can be off-putting even if the product itself is good. The ampoule applies smoothly and feels hydrating. It's somewhat similar to a soothing gel! There's a noticeable cooling sensation upon application, and the hydration lasts for a long time after use. It does feel a bit sticky until fully absorbed, which takes about 1-2 minutes. I tested the ampoule on the back of my hand and wrist, and the area between my thumb and index finger felt itchy and tingly for a moment. On my face, there was no stinging, but I did experience a slight itchiness along with the moisturizing effect. However, this sensation didn't last long. Compared to other ampoules, this one seems slightly less effective, though it might be because I've only used it for a day. The other products in the set might also be influencing my perception. While I received this as a gift and found it satisfactory, I'm not sure if it's worth the 49,000 won price tag yet. Based on one day's use, I wouldn't repurchase it. On a positive note, I accidentally dropped it from a high desk onto the floor, and the container remained intact! Not even a crack - truly impressive. I used it in this routine: Toner -> Cica Ampoule -> Moisturizing Cream -> Cica Cream Everything else was from the set, but I swapped in this TL:I ampoule.
