You can remove your makeup with just this oil, no need for a separate makeup remover I break out every time I use this. There must be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin. For the first time ever, my skin completely freaked out after using this product - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2024
The water-like texture is not too thick, making it perfect for lightweight application Absolutely terrible for sensitive skin... My entire face turned red and had a burning sensation after use. Those with delicate skin, please be extremely cautious! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 26, 2024
Skin type: Combination dehydrated + super sensitive skin (No aromatic oils) Cleansing effectiveness: It removes makeup thoroughly, emulsifies well, and rinses off easily with water. Removal of sebum and dead skin cells: It's truly effective at dissolving blackheads and sebum. As it exfoliates well, your skin feels smooth. Irritating: I didn't notice it after one use, but when I used it for two or three consecutive days, my skin started burning and tingling, and large blemishes appeared immediately... I stopped using the product right away. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 11, 2023
I really loved how clean and sleek the product's outer packaging was. As soon as I used it, my skin became itchy, red, and I broke out in hives. It took a long time for my skin to calm down.. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2023
Pros: 1. Blackhead removal Oil fights oil, right? It's effective at removing both blackheads and whiteheads. 2. Emulsification I wasn't familiar with the concept of emulsification before, but I learned about it while using this product. When water and oil mix, it turns white, and during this emulsification and rolling process, sebum is dissolved. The emulsification of this cleansing oil works quite well. Cons: 1. Sensitive skin I bought this to remove blackheads on my nose. It was fine right after purchase, but after a while, I experienced redness, burning, and tingling sensations, especially around my nose, chin, and cheeks. Those with sensitive or super sensitive skin should be cautious when using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2023
The cleansing effectiveness is great, and I love using the included silicone brush. It really helps to massage away surface sebum. I wouldn't recommend using this when you have a lot of small blemishes. In my case, it actually made them more noticeable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 26, 2023
It emulsifies well with water and effectively removes all makeup, including color cosmetics. After use, my skin doesn't feel overly dry or tight. There might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin, as I notice some redness after use. It cleanses well and even has exfoliating beads, so I'd love to keep using it, but the irritation is preventing me from continuing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2023
It removes blackheads and sebum with a simple rolling motion, just like a regular cleansing oil. The scent is reminiscent of a classic men's aftershave. What I particularly appreciate is the unique locking mechanism, which sets it apart from other products. It's a bit harsh on my skin. After cleansing, my face feels irritated and tingling, with some redness. Also, despite its thin consistency, the pump is stiff, causing the oil to splash in unwanted directions when dispensing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2023
✔Skin Type -Oily skin lacking hydration (+redness, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, milia and inflammatory acne) -Too many skincare ingredients can trigger acne and allergic reactions Unlike my usual cleansing oil that left my skin feeling dry after use, this product provided a nice moisturizing effect post-cleanse, which I really appreciated. Moreover, its cleansing effectiveness was impressive. It effortlessly removed foundation (Double Wear) and concealer (Wake Make) without any issues. Even mascara (Neogen) was mostly removed, with only slight residue remaining, which I found quite satisfactory. While I enjoyed the hydrating feel, the fragrance reminded me of men's skincare products or artificial scents. Unfortunately, a faint scent lingered on my face even after rinsing, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, after about three uses, I noticed small milia appearing on my forehead and cheeks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2023
There's a subtle soap-like scent to it. I did a thorough comparison, alternating between using this cleanser and my usual product on different sides of my face over a few days. Both this one and my regular cleanser are gentle. If they get in your eyes, there's some mild discomfort but nothing too severe. It's been fine during this seasonal change - it hasn't aggravated my atopic areas or mask-related skin irritation. After use, it doesn't leave an overly oily feeling. My skin doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable, just clean without being overly stripped. It removes eyebrow makeup and eyeshadow effectively, and the texture allows for smooth rolling. The consistency is medium - if you have healthy, non-sensitive skin and rinse thoroughly, you might be able to skip double cleansing. In terms of lightness compared to other popular cleansers, I'd rank it: Neutrogena > Some By Mi > Isoi > Etude House (yellow bottle) > well-known cleansing oil. Overall, it's a decent cleanser that doesn't cause irritation. For my skin type, I couldn't skip double cleansing. When I tried to, my face felt itchy. I tested it on half my face, and while my usual cleanser left my skin feeling a bit dry and tight but not itchy, this one didn't dry out my skin but caused itchiness and small bumps on that side. It removes surface sebum okay, but doesn't do a great job with blackheads or deeper impurities. My previous cleanser, though not great, was slightly better at this. Overall, it's not particularly effective at removing dead skin cells or providing a deep cleanse. The scent might be divisive - it's somewhat soap-like but with a lingering artificial note. The packaging is a bit awkward - the height makes it uncomfortable to use at the sink, and the pump doesn't dispense product smoothly. When I first tried to pump it, I wasn't sure if anything was coming out, then suddenly it spurted onto my clothes.
